“Ahh, Cassie. I was just going to punish these insolent elves for laying their hands on our knigh—”

“Punish?” She scoffed, urging him off. “And why the hell do you think you have the right to punish our guests?”

“Be quiet!” Cassie silenced him.

“Attacking the Baron’s personal guests? Have you grown so ignorant that you do not realize that this is treason?”

At the mere mention of treason, the knights changed their stance to an attack formation, causing a tense atmosphere to fill the space.
