Zoey stirred awake at the sounds of the system in her mind, opening her eyes to another unfamiliar ceiling. Her body felt fully rejuvenated, full of energy and life. Her mind was clear, sharp, and focused, because of the rest she managed take when unconscious.

’I’m still in the Trial? I thought it would’ve taken me back to my world.’ Zoey thought, staring at the crimson sleek luminous panel floating infront of her, a grin appearing on her face.

The room was well furnished, a large chandelier hung above her, an expensive room indeed. If she had to guess where she was, she’d probably say that she was currently in Marlius’s room, the rich and luxurious feel just made her think so.

Zoey blinked, staring at the new screens that started appearing all over her vision, shocking her greatly.

’WHAT!?’ Zoey screamed inwardly out of shock, eyes wide as she couldn’t believe what she was seeing. There were secret Tasks? Why didn’t the system inform her about this?

’This is insane…so many higher ranked skills, a strong weapon, and a new item…just for….saving people?’ She opened her [Inventory], glancing at the items which were inside her [Inventory].

It also dispels negative status effects done to the body, but depending on how powerful the negative status effects are, it might not be powerful enough to work.]

[Description: Allows the user to inject potent poison through weapons using Mana, the poison is powerful and can kill enemies with it’s crazy effects. The poison can also be injected through the body of the user, preferably the hands or nails, but will not cause harm to the user.]

[Description: The user’s resistance to poison has been increased significantly. The user won’t be overwhelmed by poisonous status effects the more the skill levels up.]

[Extreme Perseverance(B)]

[Description: The user’s stamina has been increased greately, the user will be able to tackle battles with a much more stronger stamina, other factors such as stamina regeneration have been increased, while stamina fatigue has been decreased.]

[Leader’s Voice(B+)]

[Description: The voice of a leader is a powerful force to both their subjects, and their enemies. When words of encouragement and support are spoken, your subjects will gain an advantage in battle, as their morale and attack power will be increased.]

[Effect-1: Inspire: Your subjects gain an increase in attack power, as their faith and trust in their leader empowers them.]

[Effect-2: Weaken: When a enemy hears the your words, their defenses will drop, and they will be trembling in fear, making them much easier to kill.]

’….’ Zoey was speechless, the rewards were just insane. A powerful spear, some powerful skills, and an Item, the addition of the secret Task rewards were very valuable.

She realized that the secret rewards given by the Trials could rival those often found in dungeons, if she were to complete more of these secret tasks, she would be able to advance way quicker than she had hoped for, and become much more powerful than ever.

’If only my [A Hundredfold Ascension] Talent could work during Trials, then my rate of progression could be further enhanced. Amazing rewards like these only come once inside the Trials, so it would’ve been incredibly useful If I could gain a ton of these. Especially the Weapons and Items.’

Zoey thought, rising from her bed as she stepped out. She glanced outside, noticing that the sky had turned blue and the world seemed normal again. However, something didn’t seem right….

’Mana?’ Zoey’s eyes quickly shot towards the door, as she could feel multiple people approaching. She knew that among all the people here, only she should be the one with Mana inside her, as she was a Hunter, and had a system.

But she could feel Mana everywhere inside the house, and it only told her that multiple people somehow managed to awaken during her period unconscious.

’Dungeons are still a thing here…so I guess it’s not impossible.’ She thought, taking her guard down slightly.

The door swung open as David, Lana, and Celina all entered the room. David was carrying medical supplies and bandages to treat her wounds, as they were pretty intense during the last fight, but his eyes widened upon seeing her completely fine, as if she hadn’t even been hurt once before.

“Zoey!!” Both Lana and Celina shouted as they jumped towards her, hugging her tightly, the act suprising her a bit.

“You’re healed….” David muttered loudly, looking at Zoey up and down, disbelief written all over his face. How could one recover their injuries so quickly?

“Oh…yeah, I can recovery really quickly.” Zoey lied, gently patting the kids on the head.

’Now onto something more important…..these kids have Awakened.’ Zoey thought, a small smile blooming onto her face as she looked at the kids favourably.

The Mana radiating off the kids were weak, F-Rank level, which made sense given the fact they had recently just undergone awakening. She figured that upon clearing the Trial, the world must’ve returned to normal, but the Dungeons must’ve stayed as a result.

The gates invaded their world a day before Zoey appeared in the Apocalypse, so she wasn’t sure whether the Tower Of Hera was the cause of this, or whether Dungeons just were going to spawn like natural just like it did on her world.

The only weird thing was that there were no Hunters in this new world, and almost everything came to ruin upon a single Dungeon Break, as the Humans couldn’t awaken at the time, as they would need a large amount of Mana to slowly enter their bodies and adjust to them, before they’ll be able to awaken.

And that made sense, as it could take a normal person years to awaken, even 10s of years, it all varied from person to person.

’This…I’m witnessing the age of Hunters in a whole other world…’ Zoey thought, a huge sense of pride filling her chest. The world was broken, yes, but with monsters coming out of Dungeons, and Hunters being here to defend them, the world will get rebuilt eventually.

’Wait a minute! If these kids have awakened, does that mean they have…’ Her eyes widened immediately at the thought of the possibility.

Talents, incredibly rare abilities only found within a few Hunters. The ranks of the Talents, determine how rare, and how powerful they are.

Ranks from F to D were the weakest, and while they provided a boost in potential, it wasn’t as strong as the Talents from C-SS Rank, as those Talents, even C, could make take them really far as Hunters.

Talents were highly sought for, as they were not only rare, but could be incredibly powerful.

“Lana, Celina, can you guys see the blue screen?” Zoey asked them, to which the kids eagerly nodded.

’Ah, so they really have awakened! That’s good!’ Zoey thought, an excited smile appearing on her face.

“Now do you guys see the Talent section of the screen? What does it say?” Zoey asked.

David watched the interaction between Zoey and his two daughters, and while he was incredibly happy that she was okay, he couldn’t help but be confused by their talk as he himself couldn’t see the Status Window.

“I’m going to tell everyone that you have recovered, I’ll be right back.” David said awkwardly, turning around as he left the room.

“Oh! I see something! It’s says, C-Rank [Rabbit’s Gift]!” Celina said.

“Mine says, ’None’.” Lana said, sounding a bit disappointed.

They had no idea what Talents exactly were, but having one seemed important as Zoey seemed to be incredibly excited to hear that may have one. Celina was lucky enough to be blessed with a C-Rank Talent, however, Lana wasn’t, as she didn’t get a Talent upon awakening.

“That’s good!” Zoey said, patting the kids gently. She was incredibly happy that Celina had managed to awaken a Talent, even if it was C-Rank, it was a rare find.

’They’re probably still confused by what’s happening to them, I’ll need to explain everything to them soon, especially David.’

Zoey looked outside, her expression hardening. She saw the portal that would take her back, with a few people that were surrounding it, extremely curious and frightened as well, with a few brave ones trying to enter it, but failing.

’Even though I want to go back.’ Zoey thought, clenching her fists as her determination soared.

’I don’t want to leave the world unprepared. I’ll leave once I made sure that I trained all the Hunters and educate them on their roles, properly.’ Zoey thought, her eyes settling on Celina.

“Kids, come with me, let’s go outside.”
