A few days had passed since Zoey had begun training the Hunters, she made sure the Hunters would be prepared for every situation that would occur inside the Dungeons.

She improved the combat technique of the Damage Dealers, Tanks, Mages and support, teaching them about teamwork and the importance of their respective roles.

Celina was personally trained by Zoey, as she would be leading their first ever Dungeon raid. Zoey knew that Celina was incredibly nervous about leading them into such a dangerous place as a Dungeon, but Zoey reassured her that she would be on standby and would intervene if anything went wrong during the raid.

’The strong always have to take charge in leading the weak.’ Zoey thought, the cold Mana of the dungeon blowing on her face.

The Dungeon entrance loomed over them, pulsing with a eerie blue light as it swirled. The Hunters all looked tense, as they understood the importance of today’s mission, and thus they couldn’t afford to fail.

The training was intense under Zoey’s strict mentorship, but it proved useful as the Hunters weren’t as scared of Dungeons as they used to be, they were more determined to get rid of the threat looming over them all.

’The equipment I gave them wasn’t too fancy, just F-Rank stuff I managed to secure from hunting the Dungeons these past few days. It should be good enough for them, as higher ranked items would just make them dependant on the Item’s effects.’

Zoey thought, before removing her gaze from the Hunters and returning it to Celina, who looked incredibly nervous, as she was started to sweat coldly.

“Remember what I told you? A Hunter should always be prepared to face danger, as if we aren’t here to deal with it, then nobody can. You got this Celina, stay focused.” Zoey said, flashing a warm smile.

“I know…It’s just..” Celina swallowed, her eyes falling onto Lana which stood at the back with the Mages, her eyes a bit uncertain on whether she would be able to protect them all, and lead them to victory.

After all, it was understandable, as she was just a normal kid before this, not a leader.

’I’ve given the Mages a few skill books I managed to secure during my few dungeon runs, and they should work well for this raid.

I couldn’t get any healing spells for the Healers though, so I just gave them all first aid to apply to the Hunters if anything goes wrong. Any experience is better than no experience afterall, this will be a deeper lesson for them to take as Healers.’

During her time spent Hunting inside of the Dungeons to secure loot for preparing her Hunters, Zoey had taken the time to increase the levels of her newly acquired skils to the maximum, as she found them to be pretty powerful skills that could rival A-Rank Skills when at 100.

[Virulent Poison Injection] was a pretty a pretty broken skill that dealt crazy passive damage at Level 100, instantly killing all monsters that are of F-Rank in an instant, even Bosses.

The experience from these bosses however, were incredibly bad, as even after absorbing most of the materials from them, Zoey only managed to gain 5,000% Exp. And that’s adding all the Dungeons she had raided.

’Leveling up continues to become increasingly harder with every Trial I clear.’ Zoey sighed, she still had the loot secured from the Golem Sanctuary, especially the bountiful cores from the Lord she had defeated, as she knew that absorbing all of then would definitely be enough to raise her level, allowing her to clear another trial immediately.

However, the only reason why she hadn’t started absorbing these resources yet, was because she was afraid that being inside a Trial and going to sleep, would put her inside another world away from this one, and she wasn’t certain on whether or not that would be a good idea.

“A-alright everyone! Listen up!” Celina said, gathering everyone’s attention with a nervous voice, turning around to face everyone as she stood at the very front of the Hunters.

“We’re going to be entering the Dungeons now…” Her heart raced in her chest, but her eyes burned with determination, her fist clenched and her head held high.

“I’m not sure what we’ll find in there…and I’m certain that many of you are probably still nervous…I would know, since I am too. I never fought with anything or anyone besides Miss Zoey during our sparring sessions, so I don’t know what to expect.”

“But we shouldn’t be scared to do this, as we’ve prepared for this.” Celina took a deep breath to stabilize her nerves, “We don’t have much time…and soon, this Dungeon will break if we don’t clear it in time, and that would be very bad. We don’t want another apocalypse.”

Zoey listened to Celina’s words, her arms crossed as she felt truly proud to be her mentor during her time coaching them. Celina had massive potential, not only as a Hunter, but as a leader too.

“So let’s do this, and clear this Dungeon. Let’s go stronger, and defend our home!” Celina ended with a shout, as the crowd of Hunters erupted with a determined cheer.

“YEAH!!!” The Hunters yelled as they raised their weapons in the air, the traces of nervousness on their expression wiped away as they were replaced by unwavering determination.

“Ha…” Celina let out a shaky breath, clutching her chest as she could feel her heart race, fearing that it might leap out of her chest.

“Good job, I knew you were suitable for this position.” Zoey told her, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder as she flashed a warm smile.

Celina smiled, nodding to her words as she felt more motivated than ever to do whatever it took to grow stronger, not only to protect her home, but to make Zoey proud as well. She wouldn’t let her efforts go in vain.

“Get ready! We’re entering the Dungeon now!” Zoey said, looking at the Hunters, before being the first to enter the swirling light, disappearing from the outside world.

Celina was the next to enter, and soon everyone else followed, entering the Dungeon as they passed through the entrance.

Zoey’s figure appeared onto the other side, her eyes roaming around the place as the sounds of the other Hunters entering echoed in her ears, the cold atmosphere in the Dungeon palpable.

’A cave?’ Zoey raised a brow in curiosity, as she could instantly tell based on the interior of the place.

The inside of the cave reminded her of her first ever Dungeon raid, as she could still remember it as clear as day. Goblins were a common monster found in lower Dungeons, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if she were to find more of them, given that this was an F-Rank Dungeon.

“Woah…”

“This place looks scary…”

“Are we inside the Dungeon?”

Many suprised murmurs of the Hunters echoed out around Zoey as they observed their surroundings with suprise and wonder in their eyes, even Celina and Lana were very curious about the place as they couldn’t help but look around.

’Let’s check for danger…’ Zoey thought, activating [Heightened Senses] as her vision zoomed in by 3x, her eyes darting around the place as she was using all her senses to look out for monsters.

It didn’t take less than a few seconds to locate a few monsters on the first floor, a grin forming on Zoey’s face as she saw their first real test approaching.

“GRRRRR” A low growl immediately caught the attention of everyone inside the Dungeon as a dark hound made it’s way before them, it’s sharp fangs glistening in the room light.

Celina felt her heart skip a beat as she laid eyes on the fearsome beast, her skin went cold, the tension palpable. She clenched her fists, where she took out a silver sword from her inventory, getting into a basic sword stance, a sweat breaking down the side of her face.

’Calm down…calm down…They’re all depending on you now…’ Celina told herself inwardly, taking a deep breath to calm her nerves, before exhaling slowly, her eyes narrowing in determination as a small blue aura bloomed around her.

’You got this…’ Celina thought, her stance tall and full of determination. And in that next moment, the beast lunged, leaping toward her with it’s fangs beared as it let out a fearsome roar.

“Tanks! Now!!” Celina yelled the order, her golden eyes glowing brightly as she prepared for battle, a proud glint appearing in Zoey’s eyes.
