Chapter 1: Prologue!

The shrill sound of an alarm pierced through the tranquility of the morning, breaking the silence like a hammer on glass.

In his previous life, he definitely would’ve gotten black out drunk after such an intense night of drinking previously, but in this life, he was more than well equipped to hold his liquor, he just decided to let himself go and have a fun night out.

Jax checked his phone on his nearby bed-stand, seeing it was Saturday and immediately leaned back into his bed, flopping back onto the pillow.

As he turned over, his golden eyes met a sight that brought a smirk to his lips. Lying next to him was a stunning woman, her tousled hair cascading over the pillow.

He took a step off of the bed and went into his bathroom, walking to the sink and splashing cold water on his face, watching his reflection. Unlike his past life, he was immensely handsome in this life.

A sharp, defined face, with smooth brown skin and a strong jawline, striking gold eyes that are screened by thin, gold-rimmed glasses that sit comfortably on his face. Thick dark hair, worn in loose, tousled curls and he was athletic, standing at 6’8.

Although he was only 18, he looked like a man in his prime. It was a bonus he had received from this second life, and a bonus he certainly wasn’t going to waste.

As he splashed another handful of water onto his face and then wiped it off with a towel, a mechanical voice echoed in his ear alongside a holographic screen only he could see.

“Your son’s missing, the whole city has been searching for him, and here you are in my bed getting fucked like a whore, so ironic Jessica.” Jax said, and the woman just smiled, her legs twitching as she remembered the pleasure from the night prior.

“Those girls are your best friends too no? Especially Alexi, didn’t you have a crush on her?” Jessica asked, her hand sliding into Jax’s towel and stroking his member that she couldn’t get enough of.

“That’s my boy, I’ll go make us breakfast.” Jessica said, walking out of the room while shaking her hips, still having a staggered step from the night before.

Jax moved to his wardrobe, deciding to toss on some clothing, but as he entered, he noticed a faint shimmer rippling in the air around him.

The room was quiet, eerily so, save for the faint hum that seemed to come from nowhere. Jax’s gaze darted toward the window, but the bright morning sunlight was unchanged. Then, he noticed it, a faint shimmer, like a heatwave, rippling in the air around him.

The hum grew louder, its pitch climbing steadily until it was almost unbearable. The light in the room shifted, dimming unnaturally, before suddenly bursting into a cascade of radiant energy.

Golden and crimson hues swirled together in intricate patterns, lines of glowing runes forming on the walls, ceiling, and floor.

“SYSTEM??” Jax immediately asked.

[ Host do not panic. System detects no immediate danger. This is a Summoning Spell to another World. ]

“As if my 2nd life wasn’t crazy enough.” he barked, his voice firm.

The light didn’t stop. Instead, it intensified, engulfing the entire room in a radiant vortex. Jax felt the air shift, pressure building around him like a tidal wave ready to crash. The runes pulsated, each pulse syncing with the pounding of his heart.

And then, it happened. The runes converged, swirling together into a singular point of light directly above him. The energy burst outward, and Jax felt a sudden, overwhelming pull.

The light swallowed him whole, and with a final, resounding hum, Jax vanished.
