As the old saying goes: the more capable you are, the more shit you have to do.
Among all the members of the Joker Organization, Chloe was by far the most versatile.
She wasn’t just a master of hundreds of human disciplines; she had the processing power of a supercomputer. As a result, she carried the heaviest workload in the organization.
Chloe had to maintain the Joker Community’s security and monitor global military networks—just to make sure Jason didn’t get fucking vaporized by a missile in his sleep.
At the same time, she was the organization’s chief scientist, responsible for reverse-engineering the Iron Man suit and arc reactor, trying to master the tech and develop their own new version.
The best part? Chloe worked a 24/7/365 schedule, didn’t eat, didn’t drink, and didn’t take a salary.
She was, quite literally, every capitalist’s wet dream.
At 3 PM, while dissecting an Iron Man suit in the lab, Chloe detected a valuable piece of intel and immediately reported it to Jason.
Jason was currently in the underground training facility, deep in special superhuman training.
To get his body acclimated to his new Level 2 powers, Jason had Franklin, David, and John team up and jump him.
Jason believed that only by pushing himself to the absolute limit in live combat could he improve, so he’d ordered the three of them to go all out and not hold back.
Besides, with Christine as their healer, as long as he was still breathing, she could fix him.
The fight in the training hall was intense.
For his three allies, fighting a master like Jason was also a fast track to improvement.
“Sir, we’ve got a situation!”
Chloe’s voice came through his earpiece.
Jason didn’t stop moving, answering breathlessly, “What is it?”
“A robbery at a Citibank in Queens. The perp appears to have superpowers.”
Jason immediately thought of the recruitment mission. “Got it!”
With that, he immediately ramped up his assault, trying to end the training session as fast as possible.
PSHHTT!
Not far away, the two Iron Man suits controlled by Franklin fired their full-power repulsor blasts.
Jason’s eyes hardened. He flooded his entire body with energy, reinforcing every limb and organ, amplifying his physical abilities across the board.
The excess energy steamed off his skin in a faint blue, vapor-like aura.
This was the first active ability he’d developed: Full Power Mode.
This mode was for pure CQC. It gave him armor, offense, regeneration, high movement speed, and high attack speed. At his level, it made him practically fucking invincible.
Its only weakness was that with his energy spread so thin, he couldn’t focus it for a single, explosive-damage attack.
Seeing the blasts coming from both sides, Jason raised his glowing blue fists and punched.
BOOM! He literally punched the repulsor beams, swatting them off course.
“Watch out! Boss is getting serious!”
Franklin had barely finished speaking when Jason vanished, reappearing in front of one suit and ripping its arc reactor clean out.
Franklin scrambled to make the other suit retreat, but Jason was too fast. He was already there, repeating the process and disabling the second suit.
With both suits scrapped, Franklin reluctantly bowed out.
David and John exchanged a look, both nodding grimly.
Jason didn’t give a shit what they were planning. The second he landed, he charged.
David worked his jaw and unleashed a sonic blast.
The piercing sound made Jason’s eardrums ache and his bones rattle. David’s sonic scream was a nasty fucking power. Even with his energy shield, Jason felt his body go out of control, his stats dropping hard.
A normal person without a shield would have been on the floor, foaming at the mouth.
Just then, John dropped and slammed his hands on the ground.
A wave of white, absolute-zero frost shot toward Jason, freezing the ground solid as it went. If that hit him, he’d be a human popsicle in seconds.
Jason stomped, vaulting over the ice wave, and fired two palm-blasts from mid-air.
John and David dodged.
Now free from the sonic interference, Jason’s combat power returned to full.
He immediately condensed his energy into marble-sized pellets and unleashed a fucking storm of them.
This was his second new ability: Energy Burst!
The pellets rained down like a hailstorm. David and John had nowhere to run and were hammered by the impacts, knocked flat on their asses.
Jason immediately recalled his energy and waved Christine in to heal them.
Looking at the nasty wounds on their bodies, Jason was extremely satisfied with this new skill.
This was just the ‘Energy Burst’ in Full Power Mode. If he disengaged the mode and focused all his energy… the destructive power would be no less than one of Stark’s Jericho missiles.
After a quick word with his crew, Jason left the base and flew toward Queens.

Citibank, the underground vault.
A “chosen” employee was nervously holding a smartphone, pointing it at A-Train.
“Ayy, yo, what’s up my fans! Welcome to the stream!”
Using a cringey rap cadence, A-Train was live-streaming, his face ecstatic.
“My peeps, I know there’s a lot of streamers on here flexin’ their wealth. They stream their cars, their mansions, their food, they stream tryin’ to get laid…”
“But today, I’m here to tell every streamer on the net… y’all ain’t shit!”
A-Train flipped off the camera, full of arrogance.
Immediately, the tiny chat room exploded with a stream of ‘F’ and ‘S’ words.
One sharp-eyed viewer saw right through him. “Dumbass… flexin’ in that cheap-ass outlet mall shit.”
A-Train saw the comment but didn’t get mad. “I know y’all don’t believe me. So today, I’m gonna show you what real ‘fuck you’ money looks like.”
He glanced at the employee, who obediently turned and aimed the camera at the vault.
As the camera panned, the viewers who were just shit-talking… saw the massive vault door.
Instantly, the insults stopped.
This wasn’t some rich guy’s home safe. This was a flagship-level bank vault. The door was nearly 50cm thick.
The chat went silent. Just the vault itself revealed the owner’s status. Who the fuck uses a bank vault as their personal safe? You’d have to be, like, a Saudi prince.
And the clothes… a real billionaire is so rich they can wear whatever the fuck they want. They don’t need to dress up to prove it.
A-Train walked into the vault, the employee following.
“Ayy, my peeps. This is my vault. How’s it look? Dope, right?”
The viewers were completely fucking dumbfounded. What they saw was a literal mountain of cash and gold bricks. At least a billion dollars.
Fuck, I’m so jealous! Another super-rich streamer. Why are there so many rich motherfuckers, and why the fuck am I not one of them?
The viewer count skyrocketed, jumping from a few dozen to over a thousand, and still climbing fast.
All the hostility in the chat vanished. Everyone turned into a goddamn suck-up, kissing his ass, hoping for a handout.
A-Train looked at the viewer count and read the thirsty-ass comments. His ego swelled, completely satisfied.
This… this was the fucking life. His whole life before this was a goddamn waste.
His heart was pounding. He was so excited he could barely control himself.
“Yo, chill, chill. This ain’t even a big deal. Basic shit. I got dozens more of these at home.”
Hearing this, the chat exploded again. Dozens of vaults!?
Is this guy one of those hidden billionaires who never shows up in Forbes? This motherfucker is too rich!
Fuck, I’m so jealous I could die. I hope all that money falls on top of him and crushes the stupid nigger.
A-Train just grinned and continued, “But if I just flex… I’m no different from those other assholes. So today, I’m gonna do somethin’ big.”
He pulled out the knock-off Zippo, sparked it, and said, “I’m gonna burn it. All of it.”
What!!! The entire audience was stunned.
They’d seen all kinds of flexes, but they’d never seen anyone live-stream burning money. And he was going to burn hundreds of millions. This dude must fucking hate money!
The viewers were speechless. Their entire goddamn worldview was shattering.
A-Train walked up to a stack of cash and lit the corner.
Even though it wasn’t their money, watching the bills curl and burn… it fucking hurt.
You rich dog! Why don’t you just give it to me!
The small flame grew, and the whole stack caught. A-Train grabbed another case of cash and just started feeding it to the fire.
The fire grew, spreading through the vault.
A-Train backed out of the vault, looked at the inferno, and laughed. “So? How ’bout it? I said all those other streamers ain’t shit! Is anyone gonna argue with me now?”
“Torchin’ hundreds of millions just ‘cuz… ain’t no one else in the world who…”
He hadn’t even finished his sentence when the wail of sirens cut through the air.
The employee instinctively turned, accidentally selling A-Train out.
Looking at the familiar background, someone typed: “Holy shit! Isn’t that a Citibank?!”
“What bank, dumbass? It’s his house!”
“Are you fucking blind? You can’t see the Citibank logo?!”
“He’s right, that’s 100% Citibank! I’m a VIP member there, I know that place!”
“Streamer! What the fuck is going on?!”
“Wait… did he just fucking… burn down the Citibank vault?”
“FUCK ME! ALL MY SAVINGS ARE IN THAT BANK! YOU DEAD NIGGER, I’M GONNA FUCKING KILL YOU!”
Ignoring the exploding chat, A-Train looked at the police cars outside and smirked.
