Thanks to the three newly ascended leaguers I knew the location of the leagues main forces. I cared little about making a commotion as I tore across the sky with the three phase locked minions trailing behind me. Quite the opposite really, I WANTED people to know I was here. Anyone could figure out that Jack was trying to create an image of invincibility to demoralize any resistance against him. I am going to shatter it in such a way that everyone knew I did it.-

The prick had gotten a fat head after all his success so far and chosen to try and fuck with my own interests out of greed. If he were just trying to murder the league I’d not care too much since they ARE bandits but he was trying to chase them off the Eridian sites they dug up for me instead. Hell I even had a legally binding agreement with Hyperion that I got first dibs on any sites found on the planet. He breached that contract first so he can only blame himself for the bitch slap coming. Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if he was eyeing my Eridium mine too.-

There was a wave of screaming and shouting as I slowed down and landed in the center of the leagues camp and all these people recognized me. It would be rather hard not to when my likeness was painted all over various objects in the camp. By that I mean crude winged figures with the head of a cat. The three newly ascended leaguers were released from their bubbles but didn’t complain at all about the rough treatment and if anything seemed almost in fervent worshiping bliss.-

“Bring me fifty of the most worthy among you, the warriors and brave!” I spoke loudly with my voice echoing through the air.

The camp erupted into chaos as the bandits scrambled to decide which fifty of them were the most worthy. I stood calmly as brawls broke out and even a few murders as well. Eventually though fifty battered but eager members of the league were standing before me. I raised both of my arms facing these numbers and my body burst out with green light from my tattoos blindingly as one phase lock bubble after another enclosed these bandits.-

I felt an inhuman amount of strain on my powers as lifeforce flooded out of my body to maintain so many bubbles at once. Then I pumped all the traits I stocked up on equally into the phase locked leaguers with a burst of lifeforce as well. Immediately there were screams of agony as fifty forms shifted and changed with the new traits and I finally released them to show fifty newly minted ascended to the rest of the league camp.-

“FOR THE GREAT DEMON GOD!” A bandit roared out in fervor and soon similar roars filled the air as the league was hyped at witnessing their “gods” power.

I myself was playing off the weakness I felt at the moment as my lifeforce stores were pitifully small at the moment and I was mentally exhausted from that show of power. Creating so many bubbles at once was straining to say the fucking least. Nearly as bad as trying to phase lock something the size of a small mountain. Frankly speaking if I wasn’t trying to whip up the league into a frenzy I wouldn’t have bothered doing it. Still it clearly did what I wanted it to as the leaguers were practically rabid with zealous fervor. I could ask them to kill each other and they probably wouldn’t even hesitate.-

I reached down and placed my hand on the sand before flexing my powers slightly to break it down into energy that I absorbed chasing away my fatigue. Once I no longer felt like I was going to fall flat on my face with the slightest breeze I spoke again.

“Hyperion has struck at the ancients sites I commanded you find and excavate for me! Sites I hold first right to! They kill or chase you away while you passively resist or flee! No more I say! I release you! Go and lay waste to anything Hyperion holds dear! Make them regret ever raising their hands to take what is ours!” I yelled and the entire camp roared with bloodthirsty excitement and scattered to find anything belonging to Hyperion to destroy.

I didn’t think this would really cause Jack too many losses but it would be highly annoying at least. He seemed to agree given the echo I received not five minutes later.

“You know maybe i’m wrong but I could’ve sworn you said you wouldn’t get involved. It’s the darndest thing, cuz I just got this report about a certain group of bandits attacking my stuff. You wouldn’t happen to know anything about that would you?” He said with a barely contained anger.

“I said I wouldn’t get directly involved, and I haven’t. Then again I have a nice piece of documentation saying I get first dibs on Eridian sites on this planet and yet SOMEONE has been going and ransacking them rampantly. Wouldn’t happen to know anything about that would you?” I sent back casually.

“You’re making a mistake.” he said threateningly.

“I am not the one who let their recent success get to their head. You seem to have conveniently forgotten but if I wanted to I could singlehandedly wipe out Hyperion. No army, no ships, just me, alone. This isn’t a mistake, it’s a polite warning. Stay in your lane and everything will be just fine. Fuck around and well maybe i’ll conveniently fail to remember that space station up there belongs to Hyperion, it’s just such a tasty looking thing after all.” I said before ending the call by switching my echo off.

I didn’t doubt the man must be seething right now but if his ego hasn’t eroded his intelligence he should also understand that this was something he brought on himself and take a step back. Then again he was kinda unstable so who knows? What I did know though was that I wasn’t bluffing when I said I’d devour that space station if he pressed his luck. That was no base threat either as that station was a main contributing factor to his success on the planet with it being out of reach to the resistance but able to send troops endlessly crashing down. I destroy that station and he will have more than a few problems with keeping his momentum going.-

With Jack’s matter taken care of I decided not to waste my visit to the planet and go visit my friends in Sanctuary. The mining ship turned city was located towards the north near the ice fields. It was also one of the few places on Pandora with an actual paved road leading to it from before the other corporation bailed on the planet. The road was in shambles from lack of maintenance but frankly that described was most things on Pandora.
