“Anyways that out of the way Maya this is Roland and Lilith, fellow vault hunters and friends that I’ve been working with since I arrived on Pandora. Guys this is Maya, siren and extremely huggable.” I introduced with a chuckle and wink at Maya.

“So you’re the “main squeeze” he was talking about, not bad.” Lil said looking Maya over with an approving look.

“Your uh hair is nice.” Roland said awkwardly not knowing how to handle this situation.

“Now that’s just adorable! Have you never been introduced to a friends romantic interest before?” I asked amused.

“Never had many friends who lasted long enough for it. When I enlisted with the lance that didn’t change since I kept getting disciplined for insubordination.” he said honestly.

She blinked a few times as her mind scrabbled to process what just happened before huffing in mock annoyance.

“How could you go straight for stealing a kiss like that? We haven’t even gone on a date yet!” she said with a pout.

“Ah don’t be like that, we are FAR past the dating stage of things or have you forgotten how many times you tried to convince me to remove your ability to walk temporarily?” I teased.

“That’s fair I suppose.” She agreed with a dusting of red on her pale cheeks.

“Now then back on topic. How have things been since I left?” I asked casually.

“Getting better thankfully. The years of threats of siren suppression still linger but people are starting to realize I am not in fact going to try and murder them because the monks say so. It’s slow going though.” she said tiredly.

“That’s not surprising really. It’s hard to get over something so deeply ingrained into you over years. It also doesn’t help when sirens aren’t exactly very liked in general across the six galaxies.” I said reassuringly.

“I know, doesn’t make it any less stressful trying to fix the damage to monks did.” she said with a sigh.

“Is that what you were doing when we arrived? Destressing?” I asked while wiggling my eyebrows suggestively since I wasn’t wearing my mask.

Her face burned red at the question and she playfully hit my chest with her fist “I almost had a heart attack when that archway showed up!” she said with mock anger.

“I don’t doubt it. That had to be horrifying. Just sitting here working your bean only for us to pop up out of nowhere. You must have scrambled to look decent the moment we showed up.” I said with a chuckle.

“It wasn’t hard with my outfit.” she said red faced.

“I suppose not.” I agreed since her outfit consisted of a leotard like legless skin suit that had pants pulled up over her waist.

“And what about you? You’ve got to have quite the story to tell right?” She asked changing the subject.

“Oh do I ever. Legends tell of a vault located on the savage planet of Pandora!” I started dramatically.

I spoke of my arrival on the planet, how I met my friends, saved Fyrestone and went on a war path against the bandits. I talked about Zed, Tannis, Pierce, Scooter and the other strange characters I met and the highs and lows of my journey. I talked about the weapons I made and my personal collection of Claptraps. She found that last part the most amusing. I went over our betrayal by Tannis and the conflict with Steele that ended with her turned into the personal fleshlight of The Destroyer. I talked about the changes to myself across this journey and even showed off my new siren power that made her jealous.-

“And that’s the whole of it. So whatcha think? Pretty awesome right?” I asked with a grin.

“I think I’m kinda mad I couldn’t go. That sounded like so much fun!” She whined pitifully.

“Yeah it sucks to miss out on stuff. But I brought gifts!” I said taking out the Hand of fate.

“Is this a shield?” she asked curiously as she looked over the strange alien looking device.

“Yep, I used my big alien library up here and alien maker thingy to design it from scratch specifically for you. It even boosts siren powers in some way. It’s unique to the siren using it though so I have no clue what it’ll do for you other than it will be good.” I said proudly.

“So you can just make legendary when ever you want now?” she asked in shock.

“Kinda? I really have to put my foot into making something for it to be legendary but I can if I want to. ” I said with a shrug.

“You don’t have some crazy idea like making all the guns made by your not yet in existence corporation legendary then right?” she asked suspiciously.

“I mean I didn’t but now that you’ve mentioned it…” I started to say but she cut me off.

“Nope! None of that! I don’t want to deal with every other corporation trying to kill you.” she said firmly.

“Oh come on! You can’t just give me an awesome idea like that and then expect me NOT to try and do it!” I whined.
