Edrick awoke alongside the first rays of sunlight. Ever since his arrival, the temperature in the realm had been rather high both during the day and the night, so he slept with only a loose piece of fabric tied around his waist, using Oswulf as a fluffy bed.

His camp in the Great Plains had grown to a decent size and was slowly turning into a more permanent location with each passing day.

As he stretched his arms, the joints popped with satisfactory noises.

Ansbach had been lying by his side, though not for the whole night, as he would often wake up to patrol the surroundings… And judging by a nearby pile of shattered bones that the Bearhound was very happy to show off, he had caught a few things during the night…

“There, there… You’re a good boy” Anoteros petted in between his ears, making the murder canine very content.

Oswulf also woke up often, but since her red fur was being used as a bed, she would just look around without moving, only occasionally shifting position to stretch her legs during the night.

Edrick rose, making the loose piece of fabric he had been wearing fall off, exposing his meaty trunk to the fresh air. He didn’t bother putting it back on, instead just grabbing a piece of dried Grass Buffalo flesh that was just hanging there. He popped it in his mouth, whilst going over to the center of a nearby, shallow pond.

He sat down in meditation and immediately began cultivating Guardian Hippopotamus Physique. The water was rather cold, but it only served to wake him up better. The sun rose bright and unobstructed, so Anoteros decided that he would be cultivating until the water temperature rose due to the sunlight.

Now used to his presence, the fish and frogs of the pond basically treated him as a piece of the landscape. Anoteros would stay as still as a rock whilst sitting, submerged up to his chin. Even as fish scales brushed up against his bare skin or as frogs leapt over him…

He just did not budge in the least.

Whilst he was doing so, a herd of Grass Buffalo was peacefully drinking from the pond or munching on the grass nearby despite the fact that Anoteros had slaughtered countless of their kind.

Even the two hounds weren’t doing anything about them. This was because this entire herd had been marked with servant crests.

They were serving as the ‘test herd’ for Edrick to check a few things about how Five-Legged Devil Goat Physique counted the concept of ‘groups’ when it came to the acquisition of boons. Also, it was a good way to check what sort of individual boons beasts could grant.

It was easy to imagine what a specific individual with special or uncommon traits might grant, but what about beasts that were just average? Would they grant the same ‘individual’ boons? Would it just be boons taken from the pool as ‘species’ boons? The system wasn’t allowed to reveal too much about the inner workings, so Edrick needed to find his own data.

Edrick did not mind. He was very much enjoying himself whilst playing the depraved scientist.

One thing Anoteros had discovered for sure was that his affinity for sasquatches had most certainly played a hand in him acquiring boons from them as quickly as he had back then… He was going at it with Grass Buffaloes every day, and almost every time before going to sleep, and yet… He had not acquired any boons from them.

He knew that it was possible, so it had to do with the affinity he had clearly always had with sasquatches in particular.

He frankly had no real idea why that affinity existed besides the fact that, perhaps, it was because one sasquatch had technically existed in his former world… Or maybe because they were apes, and technically, so was he to an extent… The latter should apply to all humans, though.

Not that he was going to complain about having to engage in some extensive Biesta. He was loving it, and ever since getting into it, he had become very thankful for the existence of the wisps of cleansing. If not for them, he wouldn’t be nearly as confident in his ventures.

But since they existed and the system was incredibly generous–Giving copious amounts for even the simplest of quests–Edrick could engage in his extracurricular activities of the wild without any worries.

It was noon when the scion finally rose from the pond, after a lengthy session of training Guardian Hippopotamus Physique. His skin looked smoother than ever, and water just slid off his body like nothing.

‘That was a good session… I actually expanded all of the excess energy that I had…’ he needed to refuel before moving on to training Twisted Weapon Encyclopedia.

He whistled, calling over the herd… They are all very eager to serve their master. Even if they were only bound using a crest, it was more than enough. Having tasted Edrick’s elixir, they were all addicted to pleasuring him already.

And this didn’t just involve the females. He had the Twink-Master’s Ring fused into his own ring, and he was intent on using it…

The effect worked very well on male Grass Buffaloes. At least, Edrick was satisfied with how it turned out.

He had learned to decipher the differences amidst bestial kind, and in his eyes, the drinkers of the ring’s substance did in fact twinkify just fine.

“Alright, who was the last one in line again?”

A female stepped forward and hurriedly presented her pink cavern to her master, her tail rising as high as it could go as it was whipped from side to side.

He grabbed the base of the tail, and with a powerful thrust, immediately went balls deep inside of her as the rest of the herd crowded around him, licking his muscular torso and back, yearning for his delectable sweat.

There was also another reason why they sought to be as close to their master as he played with one of them… And that was for the ‘leftovers’. Namely, once Edrick unloaded his elixir–Which did not usually take too long as he focused on acquiring excess energy as efficiently as possible–A lucky one could get to clean his king-sized sceptre.

The lucky one turned out to be the one who had been licking Anoteros’s left side from the very beginning.

“Open your mouth and swallow” he commanded, popping a drop from his ring into the fortunate one’s mouth since it was a male, before pulling out and presenting the twink Grass Buffalo with a manly rod to lick clean.

The twink had a wide mouth and big tongue, allowing him to take in the full size of Edrick alongside his pouch, giving everything a messy, sloppy blow with a copious amount of saliva.

“Mmh… It’s a first for you, isn’t it? You’re quite good at this” Edrick smiled and grabbed the twink’s horns, a high honour that caused the twink to climax.

Anoteros unloaded a second time inside of the cleaner’s throat as a reward for being a good sceptre caretaker.

Once that was done, the scion casually dipped his lower body into the water again, dried himself up, and then threw on some ample pants with a fabric belt, before moving on to the next step in his daily training.

The morning had been dedicated to Guardian Hippopotamus Physique, and the afternoon was thus dedicated to Twisted Weapon Encyclopedia.

Edrick trained with different weapons one by one. For now, having Arm Of Depravity change form in combat wasn’t working out very well… There was a rather lengthy delay when its appearance shifted, and there was a certain amount of time that was needed for the transformation to kick in.

It was slowly getting better with training, but it was still far from allowing him to switch between weapons mid-combo.

Still, the durability, power, and sheer perfection of the weapons it turned into placed it high above the rest.

The day went by like all the previous ones so far… Until Anoteros noticed something on a distant hill, whilst having his pre-bedtime fun with the herd of Grass Buffaloes. Whilst absolutely manhandling a prostate of the bovine variety, he spotted a red figure in the distance, merely observing him…

Edrick waved at the Red Guardian.

‘I shouldn’t have done anything to incur his wrath… Can’t he see that I am communing with nature? You can hardly get more intimate than this…’

“Want to join in, Buddy?”

The guardian walked away and out of view.

“Guess not…”

‘I’ll have to be more careful… I don’t know whether he is here as a warning, like it usually means when people are in the realm, or if he is merely confused why someone is here right now…’

The guardian was a living being capable of speech after all. He definitely was aware that there was a time between visits from outsiders. So by all means, he should rightfully be curious as to why a human was here after such a short time since the last invasion.

Since Edrick planned on staying here for prolonged periods of time, every time he would show up, it would be best if the scion could somehow manage to befriend, or at least make it so the Red Guardian wasn’t outright hostile.

It was a good occasion to learn more about the red fellow as well…
