The little sasquatch was in fact, just that, the potency and control Anoteros had over the Cannibal Sasquatch Lord Bloodline was impressive, and allowed for what should be a clear breach of the laws of genetics, as the little guy had not an ounce of human in him, Edrick’s will to impregnate Muxing with a sasquatch baby seemed absolute, but that was not to say that the offspring had not inherited a few things from its mother.

As a full-blooded beast, the rate at which it developed was superior to that of a human, and naturally, it was less helpless compared to a human baby as well… One might be tempted to make a direct comparison between the infant mountain sasquatch and regular apes, but sasquatches were somewhat different compared to simple animals.

The little ape was already beginning to walk on its own, and Muxing was trying to teach it a whole lot of stuff, which shifted in between what a regular, wild sasquatch would need to be aware of, and stuff that was taught to humans, she never had the occasion to see or read about the behaviours of such beasts in their early life, so Muxing did not know if it was normal or not that her son was so receptive to her teachings.

Since she now bore a crest, Anoteros had not kept details from her that could be useful to accomplish the job of raising this young one in the way that he envisioned, so the maid was aware that Edrick had been able to put this baby inside of her thanks to the effects of a bloodline, the Cannibal Sasquatch Lord Bloodline, to be exact…

The cannibal portion was mostly just a personal quirk of the beast it had been taken from and did not really matter, but the ‘lord’ part, however, was of greater significance, lord-type creatures were a well-documented phenomenon, but still a rather mysterious subject nonetheless.

Muxing had read a fair bit about it during her time at the research foundation.

Lord-types could theoretically arise in just about any sort of creature, but not to be mixed up with certain species that had a tendency to have lords or rulers, for example, goblins, whether leaning more toward the sapient side or monster side, were very likely to have a leader of sorts, but that leader was not necessarily a ‘lord-type’.

A lord-type had an abnormal amount of control and power over its kind, and generally demonstrated traits that differed from the rest, be it a different body structure, greater intellect, or habits that clashed with the natural way a member of the species should behave… Muxing had also read that the offspring of such a being had a fair chance of not being typical as well.

From what Anoteros had told her, however, it did not seem like the white sasquatch had held the ability to sire special heirs, nor did it seem like it had the intellect to make full use of its atypical status amongst its kind.

But things were different now that Edrick had its bloodline, now that Anoteros had taken it, he could pass it down to his children, and since he specifically made a fully sasquatch child with Muxing, she was fairly confident that the baby should be more than meets the eye.

The first thing one would notice was inconsequential, but the fur it was beginning to grow was not brown, or dark for that matter… It was blonde, like hers, and it had hazel eyes, these were the things it had in common with her.

What was promising was its intelligence, even if sasquatches were not absolute idiots, a young one definitely should not have such ease in understanding what Muxing was trying to communicate, the speed at which she could get her son to follow instructions or understand concepts might put to shame a whole lot of young humans.

“My son, you are set to accomplish great things” saying a few hushed words whilst hugging it, Muxing started to wonder if she should give it a name… But considering what Edrick wanted from the youth, it may be best not to do so.

It was then that Anoteros arrived in the nursery area, finding his way quickly to one of the play rooms, where he found Muxing kneeling to embrace her son, the maid’s expression brightening as he entered the room.

“How is it going?”

“It’s great, Master! The little one is showing great learning capabilities and is in perfect health, but it lacks the energy to do much in a day for now, though, and I have to admit that my… Stocks of milk are barely sufficient to feed it, the little guy needs a lot of food, but refuses to eat anything other than what comes from my breasts” standing up, she swiftly provided the information.

“That’s good to hear…” he glanced at the small sasquatch, who was barely starting to grow bodily hair, it was certainly true that its eyes were more lively than those of the sasquatches he had encountered in the woods, not quite human-like, but definitely bearing a greater spark of intelligence.

In response to the gaze, the infant swiftly hid under its mother’s skirt, hugging her leg.

“Ah… Master, I think the little one is afraid of you…”

“I didn’t do anything, though”

“Maybe it senses the lordly bloodline inside of you? Or maybe the boy is just a bit shy” Muxing giggled, convincing her son to come out into the open to see Anoteros.

“That is your father, there is no need to be scared… Look how big and strong he is, we are safe here thanks to him… Don’t you want to be like him when you grow up?” she said in a soft voice.

It indeed was frightening, as one could see how attentively the young one was listening, and seemingly understood the content of what its mother was saying.

It extended a small hand toward Edrick, who just shrugged and presented a finger for the sasquatch to grab, prompting the infant to make a most peculiar growling-like sound, Edrick felt a slight ripple course through the bloodline, making him blink for a bit.

‘Huh… I think that little fellow just acknowledged my lordship’ he glanced at Muxing, she was the one who convinced the small guy to approach him, so definitely, she was doing a good job raising the child so far.

“Keep going like that, Muxing… And by the way, I know that I refer to the baby as ‘it’, but you don’t have to do the same if you don’t feel like it- I know that you love that child like you would a human son, no need to force yourself”

“Thank you, Master”

“Ah, and for the matter of a name, that is also up to your discretion, but do remember the purpose that it is supposed to serve in the future, alright?”

“I understand, I won’t disappoint you, Master!”

Anoteros nodded and then went on his way…
