“I prepared a room for you at my residence, Luxuli, let me get you there…” he basically whispered, and the demoness had no fuel left to even try to deny this offer, which wasn’t phrased at all like a suggestion no matter how nicely it was made to sound.

And it wasn’t like there was much she could do anyways, so might as well just silently agree…

She weakly nodded and Edrick picked her up like she weighted nothing, using his free hand, he paid for the meal and first headed back to the bar to get the bag with the rest of the clothing inside before carrying her through the city and toward the sect, the streets of Oie were crowded by snow despite the fact that even if weak, it had been constantly snowing since the beginning of winter, Luxuli was flinching as snowflakes hit her in the face.

Using the sort of cape he wore over his shoulders, Anoteros covered her up for now.

This wasn’t a town in the middle of nowhere after all, but a grand city adjacent to the heart of this kingdom, so it was naturally taken care of by many workers, they shovelled the snow away and could even be seen sprinkling salt over the ground to melt the ice that formed.

With much care, he dressed her up in one of her nightgowns and slid the covers atop Luxuli, she was sleeping soundly and seemingly quite enjoying the softness of the bed.

Closing the door without a sound as he exited, Edrick looked outside, it wasn’t exactly late just yet, even his his training session in the morning lasting longer than expected and this date going on for a while- However, winter in this world, or at least in the region was truly rough, as daylight was already going away.

It was a bit late to go into the woods and play around as a sasquatch right now, he could cultivate some more for the day and train too… Or he could spend some pleasant time with his wives- But Edrick, after spending time with Luxuli, was craving something else.

“I’ll be going back out again, I might not be back for dinner, so don’t go for me, alright?” he caressed the faces of his wives and kissed them atop the head before stepping into the cold once more, the sun fading away over the horizon and inviting the night.

‘I wonder if I could get myself a technique to see in the dark…’ he wondered, that would certainly be handy as he was planning on multiplying nighttime ventures in the future.

Anoteros did not go out of the sect, and instead lurked around in the outer parts, finding one of the girls that had already fallen victim to him to ask a few questions, which she answered like her life was on the line.

“That’s a good girl… Why not swing by my residence? I’ll give you a little something for the trouble” he smiled.

“I-I’ll come the moment I have time!” she promised, but being amongst those who hadn’t taken too well to the way he did things, she probably wouldn’t be having time for the rest of her life.

“It’s fine, I can always just come and find you”

“Aah…” she bowed repeatedly and scuttered away, probably interpreting a sort of threat to his words, which would not be incorrect, now,whether she would find the prospect of coming on her own more scary than letting him come to her instead was up to this disciple’s own judgement.

Although this girl was not the sort that wouldn’t mind offering herself up solely because of his status, she was still not very combative, if at all.

Amongst all of the disciples he had had some fun with, only one had actually given him that good struggle, and having just found out where it was that she stayed at exactly, he didn’t bother himself and headed directly for it.
