Pluma seemed to be enjoying the demonstration Edrick had promised her. In fact, she was proving to be quite the feisty gal as Anoteros pinned her down against the sleeping mat, claiming her body in the ‘Breeding Press’ position… Which was just what Edrick would have formerly referred to as a ‘Mating Press’.

Once it was in place, he didn’t hold back, thrusting powerfully one last time. Of course, it did not feel like much since Edrick had experienced the body of Yin, whose muscles could probably give a plate armour a run for its money. In comparison, her friends had normal physiques. Their techniques did not alter their bodies, so theirs were the regular muscles of young women.

There was something quite attractive about that. Firm, but still retaining a certain softness.

“Try practising your technique, Pluma” he said. The girl nodded weakly, reluctantly getting away from his protective arms and reassuring muscular body to get into the proper position required to train her cultivation technique.

Pluma had picked Dual-Searing Ji Technique, which was more complex than Lihua’s Dagger-Axe Mastery, as it did not sacrifice on the basics, whilst also adding a fire affinity. That was most likely why she hadn’t encountered any bottleneck whatsoever. She had an advantage in learning that technique compared to Lihua.

Edrick tapped her head a few times.

“Wake up and get dressed”

Then, he went back to extracting pieces of Golu Amethyst. By the time he felt satisfied with his haul, it was already noon, and the sun stood high in the sky.

He retrieved some dried meat jerky Linmin had packed for him, passed some over to Pluma, and filled his stomach before making the journey back to the hollow hill.

Pluma was looking a little pale, however.

“Don’t tell me you are worrying about it now?”

“How could I not?! That’s… I lost my mind! How could I do this to Hui? And-”

“Shhh” he said. But instead of pressing his finger against his lips, he smacked and grabbed her backside, which was very efficient in making her stop talking.

“Hui is well aware of what maids do in my residence… By the way, Lihua was hired just before you, so you don’t have to worry”

“Hui wanted her friends to have a taste as well. She’s quite a great friend, isn’t she?”

He squeezed her buttocks harder.

“Stop worrying and focus on the realm. Also, shouldn’t you be more concerned with the new technique you’ll pick? Concentrate on that, it’s an order from your dear master…”

Pluma nodded. For some reason, she felt like everything he said could only be the truth, and that he could not possibly be lying to her. This was an advantage of the master-maid bond.
