He appeared to be the sort capable of finding the good points of such activities quickly–Especially with how quickly he had developed a taste for Biesta. Doing such a thing had never been something he had thought of doing in his former world. If anything, he had found it greatly unappealing, if not outright repulsive.

Whether that was due to being introduced to new categories of beings, or simply because he had–Unbeknownst to him–Been held back by the morals of his old world in some way, he frankly didn’t know.

In his old world, he hadn’t even been that big on lascivious interactions as well. He had mostly been about killing, the thrill of the chase, and the pleasure of being an infamous figure who was feared…

He had rarely acted out of lust before this world.

Now, however, he found himself to be like a beast who was never truly satisfied. He was always looking for new mates to play with, for new ways to stimulate himself… This could probably be partly blamed on the body he now inhabited… That of a young man who had always had an impressive physique, even before Anoteros had ‘upgraded’ it.

The original Zixuan Elt had been thin, almost skeletal, but he had been just as tall as the current Edrick. It was a shame that he had been destined to be nothing more than a pebble to be kicked in the way of a protagonist. Otherwise, he could have easily leveraged his abnormal anatomy to his advantage.

It made him wonder what would happen if he were able to acquire a bloodline from the creature the technique had gotten its name from… What if he could push the technique to perfect mastery? What would the effects be then?

Regardless, Edrick was not someone who submitted to his base, primal instincts.

Although the Elt clan did not have as high a mountain as the Chen clan once possessed, they made up for it by owning the largest surface area out of any clan by a long shot. This wasn’t about the amount of land they had jurisdiction over, but truly about their very own territory that was completely closed off from outsiders.

It was nearly three times as big as the second clan on the list, and most of it was actually quite wild. Only certain areas had a large number of structures. Most of the rest were left to nature.

The wildlife, ecosystem, and such were preserved and monitored by the clan. Wenxiong and Niedao were amongst the most prominent in this domain… Which was to be expected. After all, the Biesta and Monstrosia enjoyers had ‘special’ interests in doing such work…

In any case, the lakes were rife with fish and other marine creatures to catch. It should serve as a nice way for Edrick to relax for a little while and take his mind somewhere other than endless mating and breeding.

He found a nice spot near a sparkling, clear-watered lake. He settled down and took a few moments to admire the beautiful landscape before throwing the line into the lake.

It did not take too long before something took the bait, beginning to struggle as the hook stabbed through its face. Anoteros pulled the unknown creature closer to the bank of the river. The line was resilient, really allowing him to make use of his strength in the struggle against his catch.

The struggle didn’t last for long, as the prey was simply far too small and weak to put up a good fight. It ended up being a large fish, somewhat similar to a carp. A mere mundane animal.

Edrick threw it into a bucket he had brought and cast the line once more. This time, it took a little while before something took the bait, but it was pulled out of the water with even greater ease than the carp-like fish.

It was an electric eel.

These weren’t reputed to make for good meals, but Anoteros wasn’t a picky eater. Who knows, maybe Lui would like to receive it as a gift.

The third time, something bit down on the hook nearly instantly, and Anoteros immediately felt a strong pull.

He dug one heel into the ground to maintain himself in place as he strained his muscle, using his full body weight to force the catch closer and closer to the bank. He could feel it begin to panic more and more as the water grew shallower around it.

“Huh… That’s not what I was expecting”

It was a big frog that definitely had enough space in its mouth to swallow him whole if it wanted to.

‘Is it a beast, or just a very big and fancy animal?’

Regardless, Edrick beat the creature up before restraining it. He was going to have himself some frog legs soon…
