Chapter 3: Succubus

The Alpha was enraged. He glanced at the imp who was disturbing others and walked imposingly towards him.

The earth quivered, his chest heaved up and high, and his long barbed tail swayed around, hitting the walls harder than slaves’ axes.

The imp panicked, staring at his friend, who lost his mind.

“Kin! Kin! Kin! The Alpha is angry! Stop now! You’ll die.”

However, Myles was careless.

He could not help but explode in a hoot of laughter.

I really thought that was the end. That my hard work to materialize into the reality of becoming above after below someone was put to an end by a bullet.

He frowned and glanced at the imp.

His eyes welled in tears, helplessly watching his friend being taken away by the Alpha’s barbed tail.

The Alpha raised Myles high with his barbed tail and turned around.

He shouted. “Obnoxious worms will be taken out and sent to Mistress Veil. I’m pretty sure everyone is aware of the fate of those who were sent to her, am I wrong?”

They shivered in terror as they nodded their heads frantically.

Mistress Veil was the only daughter of the Lady of Chains and Whisphered Vows.

As a succubus, they were known for their skills Charm and Energy Absorption. They suck dry the other demons with their energy absorption to evolve through the demon ranks.

He sighed.

He sat up and realized he was standing in a king-sized bed. The room was sumptuous and from how feminine the arrangement of the room was, he would not be surprised it was a personal room of a woman.

Myles bent his right knee and rested his right arm atop. He ruminated about his current circumstances.

I deliberately provoked that guy to escape from this place. I did risk my life but there’s no way they’ll kill a slave over something as trivial as laughing. I thought they would just set me free or sell me to a noble as their slave, that would definitely be better.

From my circumstances, it might be the latter. Although better, the situation might not be good depending on how my new owner will treat me.

He was currently alone in the room, so he grabbed the chance to understand his situation better.

The voice in his head did not respond.

Myles contemplated for a while and said, “Show me my current status.”
