“Who?” The knight sergeant asked.

Just as he thought the shadow hands were his enemies, concentrating on getting rid of them while realizing that they originated from Myles, every Blood Knight, including the captain, jumped upon him and tried to kill him.

His eyes widened. A sharp blade made out of blood passed through his cheeks, wounding him.

“Y-You.”

The knight captain went past him as he wanted to turn around and glanced at him.

The knight captain’s voice echoed behind him.

“Commander, just surrender and recognize the might of our rising Emperor. Don’t resist. It will only take a moment of time before you get converted.”

The Commander struggled and gritted his teeth. He was infuriated.

He shouted as he repelled most of the shadowy hands and his students, tears rolling down on his cheeks.

“You damn fake Blood Knight! How dare you do this to me? How dare you?!!!”

Myles suddenly appeared in front of him, smiling.

Myles raised his hand and lifted them upwards with his palm facing the sky. At the same time, the intensity of the shadow hands increased, slowly overwhelming the Commander.

He growled once more. “Ridiculous! You just have the power to enslave others!”

“Isn’t that on the level of godhood already?”

“Then, why aren’t you one?”

Myles shrugged. “It hasn’t been half a year since I arrived here.” He took out his mantle, showing to the Commander and other Blood Knights his actual appearance.

The knight captain and the other Blood Knights were stunned. They immediately kneeled with one knee and closed their eyes, engraving the magnificent appearance of the future Demon Emperor.

The Commander mumbled, “A hybrid. You’re telling me that you are the future Demon God when you’re half-imp?”
