Chapter 8: Prophecy

Myles didn’t know what to say. He gazed at Nyxara and thought. She’s not below eighteen, but she’s definitely younger. She’s pretty, too. However, I have learned a lesson after trusting a woman. I can’t fall in love with her.

After pondering for a while, he said, “Alright. But, according to your story, your ancestor’s husband is stronger than her. Will you also reveal that I have five names for your mother?”

Nyxara nodded and said, “Yes, there’s no harm in it. Furthermore, she would invest in you a lot, too.”
