But the surprising part was Alicia, who still cared for a brother who had long died.

Noah walked before Kevin and stood with his sword aimed downwards.

If it came to a fight, Noah was confident enough in neutralizing Diana within seconds, in order to contain the damage to the room and everyone present in it.

Surprisingly, Diana answered after a long pause, her gaze never leaving Kevin.

“Diana, are you okay?! Are you hearing your own words?!”

Alicia’s voice trembled as she shook Diana to bring her out of whatever state she was currently in.

But—

Knock… Knock.

“Alicia, is that you?”

All heads turned towards the door as a very familiar voice questioned from behind.

“Ah! Yes… Wait for a second, I will open the door.”

Alicia quickly composed herself and moved towards the door to open it.

Diana, after hearing the knock, seemed to have come out of her state, as Noah observed her putting the sword back in her storage.

Seeing Diana’s actions, Kevin and Noah did the same.
