She had gone back to her room briefly to grab something, and in doing so, she ended up crashing into Liam quite literally.

“Here we are,” the old driver said cheerfully as he parked.

Liam raised a brow. “And people just trust him to bring the goods?”

Ella’s smirk widened. “Let’s just say… he’s never failed to deliver.”

Liam nodded slowly, glancing back at the quiet, nerdy-looking man still standing patiently as Lilith continued flipping through the book.

Ella still stood close, her arms still crossed under her chest, completely unaware of the temptation she was dangling before him. Liam tried not to look, but it wasn’t easy. Her curves were right there, practically breathing against his arm.

He cleared his throat again. “You might want to unfold your arms.”

Ella looked confused. “Huh? Why?”

Liam just looked away and said nothing.
