Chapter 346: Chapter 346 Rampage II
The courtyard shook under the monstrous breathing of the seven towering figures. Their mutated forms loomed like nightmares made flesh—veins bulging, muscles splitting, skin twisted into grotesque shades of black and gray. Their eyes glowed with hunger and rage, yet Lilith stood in the center of the chaos completely unfazed.
Not a shred of fear crossed her face.
Her boot clicked once against the frozen stone as she slowly lifted off the ground, her body rising gracefully into the air. Frost swirled in spirals around her, her golden hair whipping against the force of the unnatural wind she conjured. Her eyes rolled back until the whites took over completely, glowing like ghostly orbs.
The temperature of the compound dropped in an instant.
The breath of the creatures came out in heavy clouds. The stone cracked with sharp snaps as ice began crawling over it. Even the blood on the ground from the slaughter moments ago froze into solid black shards.
Dickson felt it immediately.
A deep, suffocating weight pressed down on his chest. He wasn’t even the target, but he could hardly breathe. His lungs begged for air, his skin prickled with frost. He scrambled out from under the riddled SUV, muttering in panic, “Fuck this… fuck this shit, I’m out!”
He bolted.
Without a second thought, he sprinted across the courtyard, ducking low as stray bullets and the heat of death lingered in the air. He reached the fence, planted a foot against the wall, and vaulted over. The sharp iron rails scraped his thigh, but he didn’t stop. He hit the ground, rolled, and kept running until his lungs burned and his legs almost gave out.
Only then did he stop.
His chest heaved, and sweat mixed with the frost clinging to his skin. He turned around just in time to witness something that stole whatever breath he had left.
High above the courtyard, Lilith floated like a goddess of winter. Her hands stretched forward, frost swirling madly around them. And then, out of the air itself, an arrow of ice began to take form.
It wasn’t just ice—it was power, sharp and endless. The shaft glowed pale blue, veins of energy pulsing along its surface. Its edges were jagged like glass, glimmering under the daylight with terrifying beauty.
Even from this distance, Dickson’s throat locked up. His chest tightened. The air was so cold, so heavy, he could barely breathe.
Then Lilith’s lips parted, her voice calm, sharp, merciless.
“Kill.”
FWOOOOOSH!
The arrow launched forward with a speed that split the sound barrier. The air cracked violently as the streak of blue light cut across the courtyard.
The black-skinned giant—massive, swollen with grotesque muscle—had barely moved when it hit him.
CRRSHHHHHHHH!
The ice arrow pierced directly through his chest.
The force slammed him backward, lifting him clean off the ground. His body was pinned to the frozen stone, the arrow still protruding through his chest as black blood exploded outward in a spray. His roar of pain turned into a gurgle, his massive hands clutching at the shard, trying desperately to rip it free.
But it was useless.
His strength bled out with every heartbeat. The black blood poured too fast, covering the stone beneath him in a slick pool. His glowing eyes dimmed. His body slackened.
Instant kill.
Dickson’s jaw dropped. He shook his head wildly, muttering to himself in disbelief. “What… what the actual fuck… Not even Liam— not even Liam’s powers look like this. What the hell am I even seeing?”
But the nightmare wasn’t over.
The giant werewolf had seen enough. He wasn’t a fool. His instincts screamed that the woman before him was death itself. He dropped low on all fours, claws digging into the frozen stone. His massive body tensed, muscles flexing under thick fur.
“GRRrrrrrrraaaaaaahhhhhh!!!”
The growl was monstrous, rumbling like thunder in his throat as he launched himself forward.
The stone cracked beneath his push. He sprinted on all fours, fast—unnaturally fast for something his size. Snow and shards of ice scattered in his wake. He moved like a beast possessed, his glowing yellow eyes fixed on Lilith above.
And then—he leapt.
His body soared into the air, claws extended like blades, fangs bared wide.
Lilith didn’t flinch.
Her hand wove through the air, frost curling around her palm as she conjured a massive sphere of swirling ice. She hurled it forward in a smooth motion.
The werewolf’s roar split the air as his claws slashed against the ball mid-flight.
“RRRRAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!”
The sound was deafening.
The iceball shattered on impact, spraying shards like a shotgun blast. The beast flinched as frost coated his fur, slowing his momentum. His growls turned into a guttural snarl, his movements dulled by the freezing bite of her magic.
But still—he reached her.
He pushed through the cold, his monstrous claws swiping for her chest at terrifying speed.
Lilith’s white eyes tracked his every move. At the last instant, she tilted her body gracefully.
The claw missed.
The werewolf’s glowing eyes widened—he hadn’t expected her to dodge it so easily. His body stretched at its peak height, exposed, wide open.
Lilith smiled. A cold, merciless smile.
“You’re in my territory.”
Her fist came down.
The air cracked as frost spiraled violently around her knuckles.
And the moment before impact, time itself seemed to slow—the werewolf hanging mid-air, his snarl frozen in place, Lilith’s glowing eyes staring down at him with chilling finality.
BOOOOOOOOM!!!
Lilith’s icy fist slammed into the chest of the airborne werewolf with a sound that tore through the compound like a cannon blast. Bones cracked, ribs shattered inward like brittle glass. His howl of pain was cut off instantly as his chest caved in.
The monstrous body plummeted.
BANG!!!!
He slammed into the frozen stone floor with devastating force. Dust exploded upward, mixing with shards of frost that glittered in the air. The shockwave rippled through the courtyard, rattling the ruined gates and knocking loose broken tiles from the walls.
For a moment, silence.
Then his body twitched once before going completely still. His massive frame lay broken in the crater, blood pooling black beneath him, steam rising off his corpse in the freezing air.
Forget the punch—even the fall alone would have killed anyone.
Dickson, far from the battlefield, covered his mouth in disbelief. His cousin had just killed two monsters with almost no effort. His knees nearly gave out. “Holy… shit…” he whispered.
But Lilith wasn’t done.
The ground trembled again.
The remaining five giants stepped forward, their bodies mutating further with every second. Their twisted forms were nothing like humans anymore. Each one was a different horror born from the same vial of corruption.
One roared as his skin split into thick scales, jagged and dark green. His body stretched longer, his jaw unhinging wider than it should as sharp, serrated teeth glistened in the frost. A reptilian beast.
The second’s body twisted into a hulking figure covered in hardened rock-like skin. Every movement cracked and groaned like shifting boulders. His fists were as large as boulders themselves, his eyes glowing red through the cracks.
The third sprouted wings of charred bone and flesh, his arms stretching into talons. Flames licked between his teeth as smoke curled from his nostrils. A draconic abomination.
The fourth grew leaner instead of bulkier, his limbs stretching unnaturally long. His face sank into a hollow skull with glowing sockets. His claws dripped with a black liquid that hissed against the ice.
The fifth—perhaps the worst of them all—mutated into a grotesque hybrid of human and insect. His back split open, sprouting chitinous legs that clicked and scraped against the frozen ground. Antennae twitched on his head as mandibles snapped hungrily.
Five nightmares.
They circled her, massive and twisted, their monstrous breaths condensing into clouds in the frigid air.
Lilith hovered above the ground, calm, her hair flowing in the icy current swirling around her. Her white eyes glanced from one abomination to the next. Her lips curved in a faint, cold smirk.
“Good,” she whispered. “I was getting bored.”
The scaled reptilian roared first, charging with earth-shaking steps, its serrated teeth gnashing.
Lilith waved her hand. A wall of jagged ice erupted in front of it.
The beast crashed into it.
CRRRRSHHHHHH!
The ice shattered, shards flying everywhere, but the reptilian’s body was torn open in the process. The jagged edges pierced through its scales, ripping flesh apart. It shrieked in agony, stumbling forward, only for Lilith to drop her hand.
A massive spike erupted from the ground.
SPLLLLCHHHH!
The spike skewered the beast from under the chin through its skull, lifting its thrashing body into the air before freezing it solid. Blood crystallized instantly, leaving its corpse as nothing more than a grotesque statue of ice and death.
The others hesitated.
The stone-skinned monster roared next, swinging his massive boulder-like fists. He smashed the ground, launching shards of ice and stone into the air as he charged her.
Lilith tilted her head, unimpressed. With a flick of her wrist, frost spread across his legs, locking his feet to the ground.
The giant snarled, smashing down again, breaking free. He lifted his massive arm and swung down at her.
Lilith raised her palm.
BOOOOM!!!
An ice hammer materialized mid-air, meeting his fist in a thunderous clash. The impact sent cracks racing across his rocky arm. He howled in rage and swung with the other.
Lilith’s second hammer appeared instantly.
CRRRRSHHHHH!
Both of his arms shattered at the elbows, rock fragments flying in every direction. His screams echoed through the courtyard as he staggered backward, defenseless. Lilith snapped her fingers.
Spikes shot up from the ground, piercing his body from every angle until he resembled a pincushion. His glowing red eyes dimmed before his massive stone form collapsed into rubble.
The draconic abomination had waited long enough.
He leapt into the air, wings beating, fire spewing from his throat. The flames roared, cutting through the cold air in a wave of searing heat.
Lilith spread both hands wide.
A dome of ice materialized around her, absorbing the flames. Steam hissed violently, filling the air with a boiling mist. She burst through it a second later, her entire body glowing with frost.
She raised her arm and summoned spears of ice that swirled above her like a storm. With a sharp motion, she hurled them forward.
The abomination tried to dodge mid-air, wings thrashing—but the ice followed.
SHHHHHKKK! SHHHHKKKK! SHHHHHKK!
The spears pierced through his wings, his chest, his skull. He convulsed mid-flight before crashing to the ground in a mangled heap.
The lean skeletal creature let out an ear-piercing screech, claws dripping with venom. He sprinted with unnatural speed, weaving through the shards of frost. His elongated limbs lashed out like whips, slicing through the air.
Lilith smirked.
He was fast, yes—but not faster than her frost.
She clapped her hands together. The ground itself cracked open as a surge of frozen spikes erupted upward. The skeletal monster darted left, then right, avoiding the first wave.
But Lilith’s eyes glowed brighter.
The frost followed his every move, adapting, trapping, closing in. His shriek turned panicked as the spikes converged on him. One pierced his leg, another his chest.
Finally, a massive shard burst through his mouth, silencing his scream forever. His twitching body froze solid where it stood.
The insect hybrid screeched, mandibles clacking as its spindly chitinous legs propelled it toward her. Its movements were erratic, unnatural, skittering across the frozen ground with sickening speed.
It leapt at her, mandibles snapping.
Lilith’s expression didn’t change.
She drew her hand across the air, and a blade of pure ice extended from her palm.
As the creature lunged, she swung.
SLLLLCHHHHH!
The blade cut through its torso cleanly. Its top half slid off the bottom, black ichor spilling before both pieces froze instantly in mid-air, shattering into frozen chunks before hitting the ground.
Silence fell again.
The courtyard was littered with corpses—monstrous bodies broken, frozen, shattered. The frost spread wider, covering the compound in a deadly white sheet.
Lilith hovered above the destruction, her cold eyes sweeping the ruin. She hadn’t even broken a sweat.
Then—
CLAP… CLAP… CLAP…
The slow, deliberate sound echoed from the mansion’s entrance.
An old man stepped out of the shadows, his wrinkled face stretched into a thin smile. His hands clapped lazily, mockingly, as if he had just witnessed a fine performance.
“Well, well…” his voice rasped with amusement. “That was… impressive.”
Lilith’s white eyes locked on him instantly.
