Chapter 121: The Perfect but Cold Man

Halle needed rest, so she couldn’t return to the countryside now.

Bruce had gone on a business trip, so Hilla and Margaret were either going to River University or rushing back to accompany Halle.

“Doctor Hutt!” Halle said.

She was surprised to see Horton when she opened the door and then she began to guard against him by slightly keeping her distance.

“Is Hilla not here?”

Horton asked knowingly, handing the flowers in his hand to Halle, saying, “Bruce told me to do so.”

“Hilla has to go to school every day, so Dr. Hutt can come over in the afternoon,” she said.

And she thought, “Since he went on errands for Bruce, his mission couldn’t be counted as completed until he saw Hilla in person. Besides, she didn’t want to see him.”

Horton echoed softly and sat on the sofa naturally. Under this circumstance, Halle could only pour him a cup of water.

“They left you here alone?” Horton asked.
