It seemed to be a special night. Hilla asked Margaret to take care of Halle. She sat at the table and looked at the scene outside the window.

The body on the bed was curled up in the quilt. Hilla lay in a corner like a little pitiful abandoned girl.

Bruce closed the window and got on the bed carefully. Then he stretched out his arms and pulled Hilla into his arms.
