“Hilla, I am going to die.”

Hilla picked up Margaret’s video call and heard the wail. “What’s the matter? Are you unhappy at home?” she asked worriedly.

Hilla knew that Orlenna had sent Margaret back to prepare for the wedding since it was approaching. The Andersons had lots of things to do.

Julian was cutting carrots. His movements were smooth and ordered. The way he used the knife indicated that he was a dexterous cook.

Margaret frowned and examined the man a few times, then started to doubt herself.

Julian was handsome, well built, highborn, and able to protect her in a fight and he could even cook. What a perfect guy!

Margaret sighed, gripped the door frame with her fingertips, and muttered, “No wonder Hilla would like you.”

Now she felt that a cold-blooded and boring man like Bruce was simply incomparable to Julian.

Bruce was inhumane. Could he still be considered a human?

“Hilla was not the only woman who likes me.”

Hearing Margaret’s words, Julian raised his arm that was soaked in water, and glanced at her, “Pull up your sleeves.”

Halle regained her senses and turned aside. But she couldn’t help peeking at him.

The distance between the two of them was only3 feet, yet it felt like a river. And Halle felt hotter.

It was not the first time that they sleep together. But the longer they lived together, the weirder she felt.

Emily looked at Halle, and then looked at Horton. Her face was wrinkled. She was a little unhappy.

Recently, Mom had been paying more attention to dad. Was she going to become a child that no one wants?

“Sleep early. The weather should be good tomorrow.”

Horton didn’t know what to say, so he closed his eyes to hide his nervousness.
