Chapter 18: Bruce Anderson, Will We Get Divorced?

Just as expected, with the Anderson family’s support, Ethan Dalton’s methods instantly became much more brutal. In just one week, he obtained all the evidence of the Tyson family transferring assets. In fact, he even brought the evidence of Titus Tyson cheating to the court.

Just as expected, once they came out of the court, Titus Tyson ran over and pulled Halle Holt to the side. “What’s the meaning of this? I know that I’ve wronged you, but how did you get those photos? Hurry up and take down the divorce lawsuit. I can give you the house in West City.”

Halle Holt smiled coldly. “Do you think one house alone is enough to return all that you owe? Titus Tyson, you’re just dreaming. I will reclaim all that belongs to me.”

“What’s your relationship with the Anderson family?”

When she heard Titus Tyson’s question, which was uttered in a cold tone, Halle Holt smiled. In disdain, she turned her head to the other side, but Spring Watson, who had rushed over, seized the opportunity to slap her.

“My sister came over the past few days, so I couldn’t come and keep you company at night. Do you feel lonely? Did you miss me?

“My sister is a good woman. Why did she marry a man like Titus Tyson? Also,

The sound of running water came from the bathroom. Sometime later, the woman inside shuffled outside.

There was still a faint shade of red on her face as she stared at Bruce Anderson remaining still on the bed. She bit her lip and drew closer to him like a shy wife.

“Bruce, do… do you men still react over there even though you’re comatose?” After Hilla Holt finished asking that question, she felt that the man beside her would not answer her, so she carefully moved to the side of the bed and groped around from the other side.

This time, she did not dare to act presumptuously. Instead, she quietly laid at the edge of the bed and held the blanket tightly without moving.

The room was so quiet that only the sound of their breathing could be heard, but Hilla Holt no longer felt sleepy because of what happened. She sneakily reached out from under the blanket and stared at her hand with the bedside lamp.

After some time, she whispered, “Bruce, we’re a married couple, right? If we’re married, this sort of thing is normal. I’m a grown-up too, so I shouldn’t panic that much, right?”

She comforted herself, and Hilla Holt sighed in relief and turned around tentatively while she stared at the unmoving man in front of her.

A few days ago, she had even kissed him.

It was not as soft and moist as she thought it would be. Instead, it was clean and a little hard.

Hilla Holt noticed that she could remember everything about her first kiss last time with him clearly. In fact, she could still remember the scent that lingered around her nostrils.

When she drew closer, Bruce Anderson no longer gave off the scent of someone who had been ill for a long time. Instead, he gave off the faint scent of body shampoo, and it was the same scent as hers.

Now that they had been together for long, their differing scents had become one.
