Chapter 277: A Battle

Hilla and Margaret were scrolling through Twitter at home.

They excitedly talked about the latest entertainment news.

Hilla was doing well, but she couldn’t sit for long after the cesarean section. Halle helped her to rest on the bed.

“Halle, have you ever looked for a gigolo?” Margaret leaned forward and asked with curiosity.

She felt that Halle was very much like the heroine in those cheesy novels. The story was always that the heroine called a gigolo and after a one-night stand she got pregnant. A few years later when the heroine met the gigolo again, she found that he was actually a big shot.

Emily was so beautiful and smart, and she was particularly cute and attractive. It seemed that her father was an excellent man.

Halle followed Chris, whom she had met once before, and walked to the front of Claus.

“Ms. Holt, sit down please!”

Chris said politely and coldly.

Halle sat down calmly and looked at the middle-aged man who looked fierce.

Horton did look somewhat like Claus.

However, Horton was not as severe as his father.

Perhaps because he had been in the business world for many years, Claus had the wisdom and experience of a businessman. He looked at Halle more sharply.

“I heard you are Horton’s friend.”

Claus took a sip of the black tea sent by Chris and his eyes were not on Halle.
