Chapter 77: I’m Alive but I Don’t Want to Open the Door

They had talked till late at night. In the end, they were both tired and Hilla drifted off.

Holding Hilla in her arms with a sigh, Halle comforted her with gentle touching on her hair, “Sleep tight. I’ll be with you.”

“Halle, it hurts!”

Hearing the whisper, Halle couldn’t help but pursed her lips and tightened her arms around Hilla. She coaxed softly, “I know, I know it.”

Halle was also tired, but she couldn’t sleep well this night. After waking up, she saw Hilla standing on the balcony, leaning against the guardrail and looking down.

“What’s wrong? Why are you awake so early?”
