Hugo did the unthinkable and most importantly it was one of the spells rather it was a code that allowed him to travel to a biome. But he wasn’t able to handle what came after and it broke the thing that divides the three biomes altogether. Whilst that was occurring it seems like someone plotted for this to occur

“I’m sorry… I got tricked, I wanted to gain an early advantage over the rest of the players and it causes this… This thing that I’ve awakened, Morris this is a hidden boss and it only appears in hell difficulty.
