Memory Rachel didn’t question him and instead joined him at the front and upon strapping up Morris gave his command. The copy full the lever and the coaster began to rise in altitude and then it inevitably fell at heights unknown. Memory Rachel screamed as the height was rather high indifferent and the tracks were all twisted unlike her memory

“This isn’t the rollercoaster we rode before,”

“Oh, that thing? I scrapped it, the tracks were fucking boring. So I made a better one fitting for my taste-” Christoper felt her warm embrace followed by the soft ample feeling as her chest brushed against his own

“What the hell have you been doing these days? This height is past the limit of a rollercoaster? Arghhhhhhh!!!”

“What’s wrong with me? I- I can’t puke? But I remember eating… and my heart- my heart why can’t I feel it-” Memory Rachel’s awareness finally began to seep in upon knowing and slowly accepting the words of Denial

“Okay stop being so gloomy, we still have the whole day to ride these things? Come on where’s that upbeatness gone to?”

He tried to lighten the mood but he knew her awareness appeared to his surprise memory Rachel played along. “You’re right! I might just be a little overwhelmed! Let’s go to the next ride! Something less extreme like those spinning tea cups!”

Memory Rachel thought I’d be easy but when they stepped forth the acceleration of those cuwasere unbelievable. She felt her very existence being twisted, turned, and blending within the cups gripping as if her life depended on her to do so. The moment she stepped off it was the same as a rollercoaster with her being the only one fatigued by such an experience

“Can you dial it down a bit? I can’t keep going like this. What’s more, I’m curious about your life,”

“Curious? What’s there to be curious about? I’m just a depressed fucker like before-”

“Now don’t say that before telling me. A story may vary depending on the person’s viewpoint. Come on, please…” Memory Rachel pleaded so who was Morris to decline such a request so he dialed down the controls and they talked

Their chat slowly dimmed until no conversation started and they road the remaining rides until only one remains. The towering wheel before their very own, they walked for a while and sat on the cable car which slowly descended. Christoper remained silent even averting any chance for their eyes to meet so Memory Rachel sat next to him

“Hearing your story and all… talking must be so difficult, and I don’t know what I can do to make up for it. But I still want to say sorry,”

She was just a memory, a fleeting moment of the person Christoper Morris fell head over heels for but her words reached him. “I once thought that the thing that’ll break Jin and me apart was a girl, but after hearing Yuri gave him a choice, he chose me, and stayed,”

“I used to think that maybe… Jin would come around and leave me but he didn’t. He wasn’t jolly after that. In a way, he’s kind of like my current self,”

“Didn’t they get back together? I think he’s all the more happy now. So you think that maybe the answers love-”

“What’s the reason then?” She asked

“The reason he stayed wasn’t because he’s obligated to, no he and I are like two peas in a pod, magnets that attract each other,” As he pondered if memory Rachel understood his explanation he repeated what he meant and simplified its term

“Life is miserable being alone, no man is an island, similar to a hand ain’t equivalent to a warm soft fleshy coochie-”

“Sorry… but that’s how it is. I thought Jin was my other half like no one could know me better than him. Until you came along,” Memory Rachel was shocked when he mentioned her and was all the more awestruck when he held her hand

“If there’s something smaller than molecules that’s our relationship… you know me like the back of my head. Like you knew me before we even met,”

Memory Rachel didn’t break away from his grasp and simply held his hand feeling the warmth it carries. “I’m sorry… I’m so so sorry! You’ve been through a lot and yet. I can’t even comfort you. I wish I didn’t exist in the first place-”

She tears up although she knows it was fake and nothing more than the response of Christoper’s brain if he ever got told, Rachel. The real one, the person who created this memory stored within his head, and yet instead of feeling annoyed he hugged her. He raised his hand to caress her head and with the other pushed her closer and closer as their bodies were entwined

“… sure she did make my life a living hell. But that’s not your fault. I love you, this moment of you no matter the future,” His words were genuine for those long-kept feelings of his burst like a broken damn spewing everywhere it pleases

“Morris-”

“I don’t care if you’re a fake! I hated it for so long because of what? I felt like this because you weren’t there. And I still love you,”

As their cable car descended he pulled her closer and without warning he kissed her and memory Rachel didn’t pull away. Their kiss was by no means fairytale-like, nor cute and wholesome it was full-on tongue action, an all-you-can-slurp buffet. They began to slow down, breaths panting, and mouths all wet with their extreme display of affection memory Rachel glitches

“Rachel-”

“Thank you… for everything. Although I knew long before, you made this fake existence of mine all the more real,” He couldn’t say anything and darts down to avoid her eyes as she began to disappear before his very eyes

“Hey, Morris! You don’t have to look… just remember even if I’m gone you can still find happiness. It’s only over if-”

“I give up?”

“That’s the spirit! I knew you’d look at me at the very last second. It’s a pity though… I just wish I could be the real Rachel Ainsley,” Memory Rachel disappears, and instead of hearing a ding to alert his failure and die it gives him the opposite
