It changed him, the once human-like appearance converts itself to a form befitting to be a bane of all things vile. Metallic pieces burst from within his body spreading and modifying his body until he reverted to depict a shell

The bent metal was then shifted to a bundle of arms meant to cease their efforts but even this was predicted. “Oi aren’t you forgetting someone? Come over here! Right now ya hear!!!”

The arms turned as they soon collided with Elia where it struck a shield that triggered its effect upon hit. “What now robot?”

“Backslash,” Amaris’s dagger was then engulfed by a pitch-black aura where most of his demonic energy

“Flame enhancement,” Kurenai on the other hand used the flames of his demonic race to further sharpen and increase the sharpness of his axe

“Threat incapable of blocking!!!” Hugo’s body suffered the full force of their combined attack which took a considerable amount of his health

“Threat imminent transformation has been forcefully triggered!!!” The four could only do was glimpse of its transformation where their bodies locked in place before its destruction

“Preparing counter…” Something popped off Hugo’s chest it grew bright red whereas the mana within this limited space was devoured

It was their worn-out comrades that came to their rescue, Shin angled her finger as if it were a gun whilst focusing her mana. Rachel on the other hand threw a bundle of chains where it latched onto both Jin and Airis along with the familiars. The two pulled them out of Hugo’s vicinity and after was Shin’s deciding shot where she fired a speeding wind attribute bullet

Although the speed of Shin’s bullet wasn’t affected that also counts the recoil she had to suffer. The sudden force causes her to break off from the effects of the manipulated time causing her to fall. The explosion from Hugo’s counter further sealed her fate when the pressure accelerated her fall

“Airis!!!” Jin calls out to her whilst he charges forth and unleashes his explosive flare to counter the explosion going their way

“On it!” She dives through the dark pit before the explosion can clog her path

“Chrono Accelerando!” Rachel quickly manipulated her time which accelerated Airis’s speed to chase down their falling comrade

Although her speed was incredibly fast she was then troubled by the falling beams below wherein dodging slows her speed. Her humanoid shape made it hard for her to go further beyond her speed without using an ounce of her mana. But she knew it’d be a hassle to waste such a thing when their busy fighting such a monstrous existence

“Fuck! I’m too slow… wait that might work,” After thinking it through Airis pushed for the only idea that was viable for their situation and then she turned to a bat

Like she had guessed minimizing her speed allowed her to not only avoid but catch up to Shin’s vicinity “What’s that gonna do? Even a moron knows it’ll be hard to catch me in that size. Are you even thinking– Urghh!”

As Shin said a bat wouldn’t be able to carry her and even if she could her body was but a hair away from reaching the ground. Because of that Airis thought of the most painful in a way that she would do more harm to her comrade. The skill blood warp made her body disappear and just when Shin was about to fall head-first to the ground she felt disturbed

“Got ya!” Airis’s bat-like form burst forth from Shin’s stomach and before she met the ground Airis changed and caught her

Relieve to find herself breathing Shin faces Airis who’s preoccupied with healing the hole within her abdomen. “Are you trying to kill me? Even the size of a bat is horrifically huge… argh my visions fading. I lost a ton of blood,”

“Hey I tried my best–” Their chatter was disturbed upon nearly colliding with a ball of flame that was revealed to be Jin and Rachel

“Shit, that was a close one. Who knew he’d be this strong? Fucking plot armor! It feels like a cheat- *cough* *cough*” Although they barely survived Kurenai and Ainsely rise upon the arrival of their enemy

“Jin can you fight him like you’re killing him?” Rachel checked the remaining time and she saw that only a quarter of an hour had pass

“… I’m trying, but that’s the main character. I’m lucky that im still breathing. And I’m making sure I wouldn’t have to resort to that,” Although it was vague Rachel knew what he meant by those words

“Save it… we’re not that dreadful to die. Also, Plan B is ready to go. I managed to gather every data of Hugo Miller on the true ending timeline,”
