“What the hell happened?” He closed the doors and lounged on the chair after a long day’s work in managing the other hand needs of the army

“Kurenai it’s so nice that you’ve visited, I guess my appearance is already a clue, I took a backlash,” She says with such an upbeat tone

“How bad was it?” He sighed deeply and asked along with a look eager to know her reasons

“Quite frankly I almost died. Well, it’s thanks to my crew since they shared the backlash that I was saved. I’m truly lucky–”

“You messed with time! How big was it? I haven’t seen a backlash like that. This trial placed a heavy toll on your ability right?” She took her time to breathe and she slowly sighed in doubt about the chances of their success

“Since when?” Airis was taken aback after she was surrounded by dozens of guards without her ever noticing

“Jin put down your weapon. She’s not a threat. She only spied on us after she became doubtful of your actions,”

Jin retrieves his axe and his expression suddenly changes along with his furious tone and turns to face Airis. “Doubtful? Are seriously thinking I’d betray him? Airis I’ve known him my entire life!”

“How would I know? You didn’t act like it! You never grieve or mourn. I never seen you with anyone else then this chick showed up. She isn’t a demon so I thought–”

She suddenly was shaken after he tightly gripped her shoulders and said. “Are you insane? He’s my brother! Although not by blood I was adopted by his family. We never talk about it but we’re legally brothers I cared for him like he’s my blood!”

“I– I’m sorry…” Airis lowered her head after she couldn’t face looking him in the eye due to her one-sidedly accusing him

Her face suddenly reddens and says. “I– I don’t particularly like blood… b- but because of that one time I gotten so addicted. Chris m-made me have a taste of his blood,”

Silence filled the room and just when everything was lost she laughed hysterically like a madman. “Ahahahahahahahaha! Finally some good fucking news! Ladies and Gents, we found it. A way to save him,”

Her followers and Kurenai himself were taken aback by her sudden change of air whilst all glanced in awe for Airis

Dozens of guards quickly flooded the small room and before they could notice she fired a round of Ice bullets.
