But never did they think of meeting someone they encountered not long ago when they were about to leave they sense a familiar aura. When the two of them looked further they found a group of five players and one of them was someone he deeply understands

These eyes belonged to none other than Morris who infiltrated the empire the day before. He was able to move in the dead of the night where his wings played a big part in his entrance. Currently, he infected an npc with a low amount of demonic energy which slowly turns it into a fiend. When he successfully spread his influence he only waited for the arrival of his loyal aid

“It’s a great thing you didn’t become a fiend, Sylvia. Have you done what I told you before I left to spread and increase my followers?” With the use of omnipresence, he can simply lie dormant on those he converted as his followers

Apart from leaping to a different demon, it can also be used as a way of lurking around in the body of his follower. Rachel was worried about their failure but when she sees his body completely unharmed she was relieved. Before he could notice her weird display of worry she quickly acted her role as a cold and unfeeling npc

“Affirmative, every one of my tribe has been converted as fiends. They’ve corrupted a few monsters on the outskirts of the empire, we’re just awaiting your orders. Are you finished with your investigations? I’ve heard that you’re trying to identify the identities of the other heroes apart from Yurabel,” She changes the subject before his attention would point to her irregular behavior which she was avoiding from ever happening

“I did that before you appeared from my back, but that wasn’t the only thing I did… You can come out now, I’ve concealed my aura so it’s safe to appear before me, Zeke. How’s it been, I haven’t seen you for 18 days I didn’t think this will be the way we’ll meet,” This wasn’t their first encounter and that was when he first came into the empire

There was always a role he needed to avoid but there weren’t any instances where he could do so. He planned everything out and lured the other side of the empire’s defense force known as the silent death. One of them can shoot from an incredible range with a bow imbued with the counterpart of his divinity. In the middle of their scuffle, the two of them found out about their identities and they managed to stop halfway through

“I’ll convert you to a demon and you can still reap some benefits, and once we’re done here I’ll ask Jin to hook you up with a rare gun. I’ll double your weekly allowance and personally train you when you want to improve your marksmanship. You haven’t forgotten about the fact that you can’t beat me when I change my staff to a gun. I’ll also give you some pointers and when we get some good loot you’ll get first dibs,” He was speechless after he heard his proposition and his attitude made a 180 turn

“Hippity hoppity a demon is what im going to be, it’s a deal, add some customizable parts and I’ll give you some inside scoop. Here’s my communicator filled with some classified information about the heroes. I’ll send you their plans once im done with my patrol, I need to do it, or else they’ll be skeptical about my actions,” He left before he could have a char, but his plans didn’t give him a lot of time and the final pieces have arrived

When everything was prepared he flicked his finger and an explosion made of darkness eradicate the castle walls. The screams of the npc were a tune that played for his ears and he couldn’t help but smile when the monsters breached the walls. In the clock tower, he stands gazing at a view where his actions bring about the most ominous thing he ever achieved
