Chapter 233: Elven Chicken Feed
Without letting Rufus speak another word, Luca raised the knife and stabbed it straight into Rufus’s abdomen like a surgeon’s scalpel.
Rufus screamed miserably.
“AHHHHHH—! IT HURTS! FUCK IT HURTS! HRKHHHH—!”
But Luca did not stop there.
He cut through the flesh as easily as butter, starting from the bottom of the rib cage, slicing along the sides and then across the bottom until a perfect square of skin had been removed, just like doctors did when performing surgery on an organ.
Except this was no surgery.
It was the exact opposite, something so gruesome that the male elves could barely look.
“NNNNGGHH—AAAAAA!” Rufus couldn’t even speak with the overwhelming pain of having his belly sliced into.
But what happened next was even worse. Luca pushed his fingers into the open wound, and before anyone could protest, he grabbed hold and pulled.
Screeech!
In one horrifying motion, the entire layer of flesh, skin, and fat covering the abdomen came away like a towel.
“HRRRK—AAAAAAGH!”
Rufus’s insides were completely revealed—guts, organs, everything glistening wetly in the open air.
“Blerghhh!”
“Arghhh!”
Another round of vomiting swept through the crowd, this time even the male elves joining in as they screamed in disbelief.
“What is he doing?! Is he mad!? He pulled out the man’s abdomen! What the hell?”
They were freaking out completely. Julius stumbled back in open horror.
Nyx, meanwhile, was rubbing her crotch almost absentmindedly, her face flushed with unmistakable excitement.
Luca looked at the piece of flesh in his hand like it was nothing more than a discarded rag and tossed it aside.
“Bokak! Bakok!”
A bunch of chickens immediately rushed over and began pecking at it like fresh food. Luca waved them off with a gentle scold.
“No, no, little chickens. Not that. You’re not supposed to eat that.”
He grabbed the flesh again and threw it farther into the corner so they could not reach it.
The chickens clucked in obvious disappointment, as if complaining about their meal being taken away.
Lulu let out a huge sigh of relief.
“Thank the spirits. I thought my babies were going to eat that disgusting flesh. I’m so glad. Luca really is thoughtful after all.”
But her relief lasted only a heartbeat. Luca turned back with an evil, insidious smile that made her blood run cold.
“Instead, I’m going to let you feed on something much more delicious and juicy, something that you love.”
Rufus was already feeling faint from the massive blood loss, yet somehow still alive because Luca had cut him open with such precise, almost surgical care.
But when he heard those words, fresh terror jolted through him. He turned his head weakly, voice rising in panic.
“Wait, wait! What do you mean by that? What are you going to do? What are you going to do, dammit?!”
Each repetition grew louder, his fear mounting.
Luca picked up the sack of seeds and turned toward him, eyes gleaming with malicious intent.
“Like I said, I’m going to feed these chickens tonight. I’m pretty sure they’re already bored of eating insects, worms, and seeds and all that stuff. So, today…”
He leaned in closer to Rufus’s face, voice dropping to a chilling whisper.
“I’m going to let them have a taste of what elf insides taste like.”
Right before everyone’s horrified gaze, he scooped out a handful of seeds, held it over Rufus’s exposed abdomen where all the organs were still moving, and just as Rufus screamed—
“NOOOOOOOOO—!”
—he dropped them in.
Shhhh!
The moment the seeds landed, Rufus did not even have time to scream from the fresh pain of foreign objects touching his insides.
Instead, the chickens, seeing the sudden feast, surged forward in a hungry wave.
“Bokak! Bokakak!”
They began pecking furiously, not just at the seeds but at the soft, warm organs beneath them, eating
“WWWW-RRRRAAAAAAA! NOOO—! S-Stop it! STOOOP!!!!”
Rufus was being eaten alive from the inside while he was still conscious. The most horrible pain imaginable flooded his body as he screamed.
“STOP! STOP! DON’T! DON’T! THOSE ARE MY ORGANS! DON’T EAT THEM! NO! NO! STOP! GYAAAAA—H-HHH!!!!”
Piece by piece, bit by bit, his insides were pecked away. His pancreas vanished first, then sections of his kidneys, his stomach, and more.
It was not a fast death. The chickens focused mostly on the seeds at first, only nibbling small pieces off the organs, so the torment stretched on slowly, miserably, flesh by flesh.
Luca smiled at the side and scooped out more seeds.
“Here, more seeds.” He threw another handful into the open cavity, and even more chickens came running, joining the feast.
“Bokak! Bokaak! Bokaak!”
They started ignoring the seeds entirely and began eating the organs themselves. His guts disappeared next, then the rest of his gallblader, his kidneys, his stomach.
One by one, everything inside him was gone.
By the time the chickens had eaten their fill and wandered away, Rufus’s insides were completely hollowed out.
Not a single organ remained. He had died on the spot, his face frozen in a look of utter, miserable agony.
The male elves couldn’t handle it anymore. Half of them turned and fled at full speed, their screams echoing through the forest.
“DEMON! HE’S AN ABSOLUTE DEMON!”
“WHO THE HELL CALLED HIM A HERO? HE’S A MONSTER!”
“I CAN’T WATCH THIS! I CAN’T!”
Several of them had pissed their pants. The sight of a man having his stomach cut open, his organs exposed, being eaten alive by chickens while he screamed—it was too much.
No matter who they were, no matter what they had seen, that image would haunt them forever.
The other half couldn’t even run. Their bodies refused to move. They stood frozen, trembling, their eyes wide with terror.
Julius looked down at his hands. They were shaking.
He tried to press one palm against the other, tried to still the trembling, but it wouldn’t stop. He couldn’t stop.
This was pure, undiluted fear, the kind he hadn’t felt since he was a child.
He had always been arrogant, always at the top, always the one in control. But now he felt like he had been dropped into the deepest pit of hell.
The female elves were disturbed too, but their disturbance was different.
They were horrified by the violence, the brutality, the sheer inventive cruelty of the execution. But they didn’t mourn Rufus. None of them did.
Even Rufus’s own mother stood at the edge of the crowd, watching. Her face was still, her eyes dry.
There was a hint of sadness—he had been her child once, after all. But that child had grown into someone she no longer recognized.
That was the fate of so many males on this continent. They tasted power and became kings, consumed by arrogance, blind to everything except their own desires.
She closed her eyes and prayed. Not for his life—that was already gone. She prayed that his soul would be reborn into something better.
A kind person. A gentle animal. Even a tree, whose fruit would nourish the forest and give life rather than take it.
Nyx, of course, had the strangest reaction of all.
She was leaning against a tree, her face flushed, her chest heaving. Her legs were trembling. Luna noticed and frowned.
“Auntie Nyx? Are you alright? You look like you have a fever. Are you sick?”
Nyx forced a smile, waving a shaky hand. “It’s alright, Luna. Y-Your Auntie Nyx is totally fine.”
Her smile turned mysterious, almost dreamy. “I’m actually more than fine right now.”
The truth was far more scandalous. She had ended up squirting hard on the spot, experiencing a full, shuddering orgasm from the sheer brutality she had just witnessed.
She was such a freak that the dam inside her had burst completely open, leaving her underwear utterly drenched.
Her legs were weak and she was still shivering all over from the intense waves of pleasure rolling through her body.
Leona herself had her hands clamped over Lulu’s eyes.
Lulu squirmed and protested.
“Mother! I want to see! What’s going on? Why is Clucky making those sounds like he ate something really good? What did Luca do?”
“Be quiet, Lulu.” Leona said sternly. “Be obedient.”
Lulu pouted, but she stopped struggling. Her mother’s hands were warm against her eyelids, and she found herself leaning back, resting her head against Leona’s soft chest.
It was like lying on pillows. She felt so safe, so warm, so loved. She forgot entirely about the commotion and just enjoyed her mother’s embrace.
Leona felt her daughter’s weight against her, and the cold horror that had settled in her chest after witnessing the execution began to thaw. Warmth spread through her, slow and gentle, chasing away the darkness.
Luca himself was currently crouched beside Rufus’s hollowed-out corpse, staring into the empty belly cavity as if observing something fascinating.
Finally he could not help but mutter under his breath.
“Those chickens completely ate your organs out like it was a damn feast, and they relished it so much.”
He tilted his head curiously. “Do your insides really taste that good?”
And then, he actually reached a hand inside Rufus’s body and tore apart a small remaining piece of organ that looked like part of the pancreas.
He brought it close to his nose and sniffed it and to the horror of the entire crowd—looked like he was actually going to put it inside his mouth, as if he genuinely wanted to taste it.
But then he suddenly glanced at the watching elves and broke into a bright smile.
“I’m joking, I’m joking. Do you really think I’m going to do something as disgusting as that?”
He flicked the piece of organ away with casual indifference.
Everyone let out a huge, collective sigh of relief.
“Thank the spirits. I thought I was going to see something truly horrifying.”
“The Hero really does play gruesome jokes. My heart can’t handle this.”
“I actually thought he was going to eat it for a second.”
While most of the elves believed it was only a dark joke, there was one single elder watching closely from the back.
For some reason she felt as if the real reason Luca had not eaten it was simply because everyone else was watching.
If no one had been there, she suspected he might have genuinely taken a chance to taste it.
There had been a certain glint in his eyes, like he truly wanted to know what elf flesh tasted like.
But she quickly shook those thoughts away, telling herself it made no sense at all.
Why would the Hero do something so vile? She must have been imagining it.
