If it had been any other day, Damian would have been too terrified to even consider fighting. But today was different. His mood had already sunk to its lowest point. The elevator doors slid open, and Damian stepped out with both hands clasped behind his back, his robes fluttering faintly as if stirred by an unseen wind. He walked calmly toward the staircase that led to the rooftop.

The outline of massive wings pushed against his flesh, straining for release.
