Chapter 15: Enabling Clara’s Fantasies

Clara was still in her work clothes, her hair tied into a messy bun. She looked a bit tired but mostly okay. Actually, it was Damian who looked like a mess. He looked like a man hovering between tipsiness and consciousness.

She watched him rub his eyes a few times before sliding his hand over his forehead and pushing his hair back.

“Don’t mind me. Hit me with what you’ve got.”

“Okay…”

Clara was a bit bothered, but since Damian wasn’t willing to talk about it, she didn’t push any further. She began flipping through pages, and a rare smile appeared on her lips. It was the smile of someone who had accomplished a task to the best of her abilities and was satisfied with the outcome.

“The witness’s name is Terrence Boyd, and he has a really, really bad past. Perjury, fraud, assault, drug distribution, theft… he has done it all. In fact, he’s currently facing a felony charge. We can easily argue the witness’s testimony may be influenced by personal gain and cannot be trusted.”

Clara was excited, but it wasn’t the same for Damian. Even without this, he planned to dispute the authenticity of the witness’s testimony based on the distance between him and the incident, and the poor illumination at the scene at the time of the shooting. The information she provided was just the final nail on his coffin, regardless the coffin had already been prepared beforehand.

“Good job.”

He complimented her, and a sweet smile bloomed on her face. Of course, Damian didn’t notice because he was too busy scribbling down Terrence Boyd’s name on a piece of paper before returning to meet her gaze.

“So do you have everything ready for the bond hearing tomorrow?” Clara tried to make small talk.

She held her breath, hoping Damian wouldn’t just ask her to send her work over and cut the call.

“Yeah… I called an old friend who is an expert in that field. I met him in college. He is willing to testify that the cell tower radius is too broad. It’s not GPS that tracks precise location, therefore it’s too broad and unreliable to be considered solid evidence.”

Damian explained while booting his laptop.

“That’s great!” Clara exclaimed.

“But you seem a bit tired. If you want, I can help you prepare your defense for tomorrow’s hearing. All you need to do is rest.” She offered, and Damian revealed a bitter smile.

How was he supposed to explain that he wasn’t tired? What she was seeing was the face of a man getting his ass whooped by his wife in a drinking game.

Even if he could explain that to her, he still wouldn’t accept. Letting her take on this responsibility also meant freeing himself up to finish the drinking game with Hazel.

He would never let such a thing happen.

“Forward everything you have. I’ll compile everything and prepare it myself. I prefer handling delicate work like this alone.” He decided after a moment of silence.

Disappointment flashed across Clara’s eyes, but she accepted his decision with a nod. The two exchanged pleasantries, but when she was about to end the call, a familiar face appeared behind Damian, dressed in a plain T-shirt.

It was Hazel.

“Well, hello there.” She said with a smile while pulling Damian’s head between her breasts, visible beneath her clothes.

Clara’s face flushed red, and she slowly touched her reddened cheeks while her mind raced. On the other side was Damian struggling to break free from her chest, a scene she would normally consider hilarious. In fact, considering her demeanor and the way she spoke, she seemed like a very fun and open-minded person.

’But would he really say all that to her?’ Clara couldn’t help but feel bad for her.

It was unfair for someone this pretty and smart to be treated like that.

“Are you okay with that?” She asked reluctantly.

“Well, of course. Our relationship is quite unique. It’s open only for him. As long as he comes back home to me, he’s free to have some fun outside.” Hazel shrugged, leaving Clara stunned.

“So that’s how it is…”

She mumbled, thinking back to Damian’s relationship with Candice. Technically, he wasn’t cheating if his wife was aware and in support of it. But who would open a relationship only for one party?

Was he really so amazing that she would rather share him than lose him?

However, thinking back to the associate dinner, after the dramatic wife introduction, people had begun to speculate. Damian was the one who dumped Candice, and Adrian was her rebound guy to get back at him, but she just couldn’t stand seeing him with his wife at the party, so she slapped Adrian and left.

The wild story people were cooking up simply because neither side was coming out to publicly clear the air was crazy. Back then, she found the story ridiculous, but seeing how Candice confronted Damian in the office today over it, and seeing how loving and caring Hazel was toward Damian despite knowing he had girlfriends, made her wonder what about him was driving these two ladies crazy.

’He’s good looking, but that can only do so much.’

’Considering his position I can tell he is alright but he’s not wealthy, so the only other things he can offer them are his attention and sex. One of the two, or maybe even both, must be so amazing they can’t do without it.’ Clara drew her conclusion in a heartbeat.

She bit her bottom lip, her legs pressing tightly against each other as the thought of Damian naked flashed through her mind for only a second.

Without warning, she turned off the call, leaving Damian and Hazel staring at a blank screen. Once again, she bailed abruptly the moment she felt a bit uncomfortable.

“I’m pretty sure she got aroused after picturing you naked simply because I gave her fantasy of sleeping with you hope.” Hazel chuckled, clearly pleased with herself.

“She reminds me of Racheal though. Maybe she’s not as shy, but she shows affection the same way.”

“Through shyness?” Damian raised a brow.

“Mhmm…”

Hazel nodded while her hands explored Damian’s body, rubbing his chest, nipples, abs, and then sliding into his pants.

“Wait. Hold on…”

Damian grabbed her hand, but it was too late. She was already holding his cock and stroking gently.

“God, I’m going to get fired at this rate…” he gasped.

“Please let me work.” He begged, but Hazel shook her head.

From the look in her eyes, he knew satisfying her would take most of the night and possibly some of the next day.

’If one wife is this difficult to deal with, what will happen when the other two arrive?’

Damian couldn’t help but shudder in fear.
