“Yes!” Michelle retracted the flame and stepped into the darkness, closing her eyes. Since her sight was useless, she wouldn’t let it obstruct her. With a slight frown, she pushed the net of spirit energy behind the bars and tried to sense what was in the cage, but she didn’t find anything alive. Just some remnants of foreign spirit energy, which definitely wasn’t there for a long time, as the specks of spirit energy were still in some order, whereas free spirit energy usually just ran rampant in space until it was absorbed by someone.

The fact that the spirit energy behind the bars was somehow in order meant that something was originally in the cage, but just a while ago, it got out. So Michelle wasn’t alone in the room.
