Michelle stepped out of Red Velvet House and started wandering the streets lazily, thinking about what she had just found out. It turned out both the city she was in and the Sloan family were bothersome opponents.

Understanding that the cat wouldn’t tell her anything, Michelle stood up and glanced down at it. “If you want something from me, lead me there…”

Finally, the cat reacted. With a swift leap, it rushed through the city.

And quite the unexpected scene unfolded before Michelle’s eyes. Bloodied and weak, in front of the black cat lay the two leopards Michelle and Ivona rode to the city on.

The two big cats stared at Michelle, their eyes clear. So it seemed they didn’t want her to heal them. Or at least they weren’t expecting it.

But the small black kitty thought otherwise. Turning to look at Michelle, its eyes had a hint of plea shimmering deep within the split pupils.

Michelle was puzzled. She didn’t understand why the cat wanted her to heal the leopards. But she didn’t complain and reached into her spatial ring as she walked towards the two wounded creatures.

The leopards weren’t happy when Michelle approached, so they bared their teeth at her. But when the black cat let out a single hiss, they instantly shut their jaws. It was clear who was the most powerful of the three.

There were many things Michelle wanted to ask, but she doubted she would get an answer. It didn’t seem like any of the three animals could speak. They could understand her, but there was no way for them to answer her questions. So there was no point in asking.

Quickly, while touching the two leopards as little as possible, Michelle examined them. When she saw them, she thought they just had external wounds, but when her examination was over, her face was creased into a nasty frown.

When the leopard’s whole fur had a black gleam to it, Michelle could finally focus on the wounds. She started with the biggest one, because that had the most open area, making it easier for her to send her spirit energy in.

Making the spirit energy slowly crawl across the leopard’s skin, Michelle had the spirit energy enter the wound from one side, forcing the wind element spirit energy out.

She had to have her spirit energy under perfect control at all times, which made the short process quite taxing. But after a while, she could feel the wind element spirit energy dispersing into the air as it had nothing more to get stuck to.

The moment she was done with the first wounds, Michelle moved on to another one.

Within a few minutes, the first leopard was freed of the torture caused by the residual wind element spirit energy.

Michelle wanted to go on to help the second leopard, but the little black cat stood in her way, letting out a sharp hiss.

When the hiss entered Michelle’s ears, she suddenly felt extremely dizzy and fell down, slumping against the leopard she had just treated with a groan. Her head was spinning and she felt like puking.

Glancing at the black cat, she felt puzzled. Was the cat’s hiss the cause of the state she was in? Did that mean the cat was powerful enough to overpower her so quickly?

The black cat leapt from the wounded leopard to Michelle’s side and nuzzled its head against her arm, as if trying to say something. But Michelle couldn’t understand a word of it. So she just stared at the cat in confusion, while feeling terrible.

One of the things she hated to the core was being dizzy and having her head spin. Because she couldn’t focus on anything then and was completely vulnerable.

A hot wave suddenly rushed over Michelle’s body, and she could barely hold back from hurling. She abhorred the idea of lying in her own vomit, so she refused to puke.

But, as if something was toying with her, when she stopped herself from vomiting, her head started spinning even more, the dizziness getting worse. And that caused another hot wave to rush over her body.

The endless cycle of hot waves and dizziness made Michelle remember a sickness she once had in her past life. Back then, she felt exactly the same as at the moment, but she didn’t have to hold back from vomiting, so it wasn’t that bad.
