“It’s probably intelligent.”

“Why do you say so?”

“It twitched right when I touched it, as if on purpose. Souls usually don’t twitch. It wanted to be noticed. Also, you said you felt your soul energy move within your body to form shapes like sign language.”

With a frown, Michelle let her fingers curl by her side as she thought about everything. The presence of an intelligent soul changed the stakes.

From what the man in black had told her before, she knew she didn’t need to worry about being controlled or overpowered by the soul, but she still had doubts in her mind. The soul couldn’t directly harm her, but what if it harmed her indirectly?
