“This will be your gift…” With that, she opened her mouth and bit down hard on the side of Alexander’s jawline, leaving two red rows behind.

When Michelle pulled back, Alexander touched where she bit, exhaling slowly, like he was savoring the pain from the bite.

“I guess I should give you a return gift!” His eyes gleamed.

“And what will that be?” Michelle laid back down, her gaze locked on Alexander like a predator’s gaze on its prey.

But Alexander was no prey.

He was equally as predatory as Michelle.

For a moment, silence stretched in the room, the two staring at each other like two beasts circling each other.

But there was also tension in the air, unlike that when beasts met.

After that moment, Alexander lowered his head to Michelle’s until their lips touched.

But instead of a normal kiss, he opened his mouth and bit down on her lip like he was having a taste.

“What if I try to ruin you?” He pulled her against him.

“Your chest isn’t a good cushion!” she complained.

Michelle’s stubbornness widened Alexander’s smile.

“Didn’t you agree to go rest? So you can test your strength for changes earlier?”

That made Michelle sigh. She had things to do.

“Put me down…” she finally said reluctantly.

But Alexander had different plans.

Instead of putting Michelle down, he walked with her over his shoulder back to the bed and sat down.

Michelle loved doing that more than anything.
