When Melody Donovan finished washing up, changed her clothes, and came out to the living room, she jumped in surprise. “What are you still doing here?”

Dominic Thorne suddenly leaned in close to her. She had the faint, sweet scent of roses about her. Though she wore no makeup, her beauty was enough to topple nations.

Melody Donovan reached out to push him away.

“Did you think I’d fall for the same trick twice? Hmm?”
