Jessie Sterling went to the concert with Lynn Jennings as planned.

After it was over, Jessie noticed several missed calls on her silenced phone.

One of them was from Keith Reese, whose call she had answered not long ago.

Jessie hadn’t actively looked for Julian Grant, but she knew he had been in the wine cellar these past few days.

“Men are such an unstable element. Even if you were going to sleep with him, couldn’t you just go to a hotel? Did you have to bring him to your place? You’re in a dangerous situation now.
