Braelyn’s POV

I kissed him

I wasn’t thinking straight, like hell I could actually think when he was next to me.

I knew I couldn’t save him. How could I redeem another when I was equally lost, but maybe even for a moment, if I could make it all fade away?

I thought I would be mad after hearing how twisted he was. I felt like laughing. Maybe I would have laughed as the tears streaked down my face if his lips weren’t on me now.

The kiss started soft, almost careful, like he was waiting for me to shove him off the cliff. But the second my lips moved against his, something snapped. His hands tightened on my face, tilting my head, and then it wasn’t soft anymore.

A small, distant part of my brain whispered that this was wrong. So fucking wrong. He was Raphael’s uncle, no, wait, he was Lucien. My husband’s uncle. The man who should never be touching me like this, kissing me like he wanted to ruin me.

But it was an open marriage. He didn’t care. I didn’t owe him anything and God, the wrongness of it only made it burn hotter. Forbidden had never felt this good.

We were about to cross that line. The sentiments always held me back, but not tonight. He pried my lips open for his tongue to sneak in and find my mind. Deepening the kiss further, a moan slipped out once I felt his hot tongue.

I broke the kiss, breathing hard, staring at him. His hazel eyes were dark, almost black in the low light, his lips swollen, his hair messed up from my fingers.

“Lucien…” It came out shaky. A warning or a plea. I wasn’t sure.

He stepped between my legs, hands sliding up my thighs, thumbs pressing in just enough to make my breath catch again.

“Don’t think, Viper,” he murmured, voice rough. “Not tonight.” He said, then pressed his forehead against mine, and our eyes met.

“I was talking to you, Viper..” he whispered, slowly moving his face to hover over mine. He grabbed my chin, making me glance at him. His lips were barely away from mine when he spoke.

“Are you ready to go all the way and you wouldn’t regret it tomorrow?” He asked, and my gaze flickered, understanding what he meant. I smiled then wrapped my hand over his shoulder. I wrapped my leg around his waist and rubbed against him

“Tonight is a cheat night. As long as you are clean I don’t mind going raw. It’s not like I can get pregnant.” I chuckled. He grinned mischievously.

“Don’t take back your words later.” He drawled. Then his lips brushed under my eyes. He started kissing my tears… he muttered in a hoarse voice.

“I am sorry for making you cry.” He said his voice carried a sad tone that made my heart squeeze. He didn’t let me lie on the fact for long before his lips captured mine again. He muttered against my lips

“Sorry, I won’t be able to go easy on you tonight…” His lips smacked against mine. I felt my panties shift to the side and his fingers slid in circling my clit before going in fully
