Chapter 202: His breaking point

Braelyn’s POV

“If he doesn’t react today, he truly doesn’t love you,” Lucien said, leaving them stunned. He suddenly moved forward, licking the corners of my lips before he pulled me to a kiss.

Raphael’s car came to a screeching halt! I didn’t even have the chance to process that Raphael’s car had arrived. Lucien didn’t give me the chance to do anything aside from being swallowed by his lips

“What are you doing?” I was barely able to say. His breath was rough as he shoved me against the wall, “Just trust me…” he said, caging me against the damn wall.

His lips were intoxicating and addictive as always, my back was pressed hard against the wall while his lips continued to suck the senses out of my head.

My hand pressed against his chest trying to shove him off. He was as tough as a rock, his hand crawled up my back to yank my head backwards making it easier to kiss me. He easily pried my lips open and claimed my mouth completely

My resistance completely melted and I was completely swallowed by the rhythm of his lips. I had completely forgotten about everything, including Raphael, who was close by.

My hand wrapped around his neck, and I started kissing back with the same shameless fever, like I could not have enough of him. He groaned into my mouth as we became a little tangled mess in his arms.

I shouldn’t be enjoying this as much as I did but damn, this tasted way better knowing Raphael was probably brooding at this sight

Unfortunately, everything good must come to an end. “What the fuck do you think you are doing?” I heard Raphael bark somewhere in the background, Lucien didn’t bulge. I didn’t know what game he was playing but I think he had his answer

Raphael rushed straight to us swinging his fist as hard as he could. He grabbed Lucien by the collar, taking him a bit aback as Lucien was yanked away, and punched him straight in the face.

We were both stunned. I wasn’t expecting Raphael to actually start throwing punches after all, this wasn’t the first time he saw us like this. The last time he calmly ate doughnuts and watched us…

Today was different; it felt like a pent-up dam of frustration was broken.

Raphael yanked him off and started throwing a rain of punches at Lucien like a freaking beast. Lucien was taken aback at first but quickly snapped out of it. A smirk graced his lips, and he started deflecting Raphael’s punch.

It wasn’t like the time they faulted after Will reading, Lucien fought back. I crumpled to the floor, leaning against the wall, trying to catch my breath. My chest was rising and falling as I tried to figure out what was happening.

They were fighting and cursing each other…

“How dare you touch her…” Raphael roared at Lucien. Lucien’s smirk grew taunting, he was a bit too late dodging a punch that went straight to his nose.

He wiped off the blood under his nose, then taunted, “Why can’t I touch her? She is mine after all.” Lucien retorted as they continued fighting. Their movements were so fast that I had some trouble trying to keep up.

I clutched my chest, feeling my heart, which was still racing under my palm.

Lucien’s retort made Raphael lose his mind completely. “Don’t you dare say she is yours. ” he snapped.

“She is mine. Braelyn is married to me…” Lucien kicked Raphael off, making him fall a few feet away. Raphael was badly bruised and managed to get on his feet.

An eerie laugh rang from Lucien’s lips. He laughed like a fucking menace. “For now she is trapped with you. Don’t bloody forget you were the one who suggested an open marriage in the first place” he reminded. Raphael’s jaw clenched, and he gritted his teeth as he finally got on his feet.

They were moving so fast I couldn’t keep up. One moment Raphael had him pinned, the next Lucien was laughing through blood. Everything blurred together (rage, fists, shouts) until I couldn’t tell where one strike ended and the next began.

Lucien wasn’t done. “You fucking opened the door and I have claimed what you gave out.” He spat each word until a smirk grew on his face.

“She moans so damn well every single time…” he didn’t finish his words. Raphael hurled a random object at him..Lucien had to dodge.

“Shut your stinky mouth and stay away from my wife.” He warned Lucien that his gaze was so dark and filled with murderous intent.

Lucien clicked his tongue. He tilted his head. “And what if I don’t..” he challenged. Raphael’s hands were trembling, I could tell he was about to attack again.

“Why are you suddenly acting as if you care? Or don’t tell me you got tired of Amelia so soon?” Lucien taunted.

“Mind your mouth…” he hissed, Raphael’s eyes slowly turned red. “Or I will…”

“You will what?” Lucien got back at him. “Punch me again… that wouldn’t change a thing, Raphael. She might be yours legally but she is mine in every other way…”

“I bloody fucking hate you…” Raphael roared, lashing out at Lucien. He blocked the punch, but Raphael was no pushover. Lucien hissed in pain.

“Stay the hell away from my wife, Lucien, or I will make you regret it.” He swore and he meant every word.

“I would love to see you try. It’s an open marriage she is free to fuck whomever she wants. ” he retorted in a heartbeat rubbing his knuckles

I finally forced myself up. I knew if I didn’t do something soon. Someone might die, the looks in their eyes told me they have lost every reason. They both look like they wanted to kill each other.

This fight, of course, drew attention; security had already closed in, but they were hesitant about whether they should step in or not.

“Stop!!!” I screamed at the top of my lungs, and tears even trickled down my cheeks. I felt so helpless and weak. I could only be a spectator.

“Please just stop.” I cried.

I wasn’t expecting them to stop but they did. They both froze and their heads snapped towards me. Tears were streaming down my face as I pushed myself forward towards them.

“What is this madness Raphael? Why did you hit him?” I cried. Something flickered across his eyes, and his jaw tensed.

“I can’t stand him,” he retorted. I was standing beside them, dumbfounded by his words. “That is why you hit him?” I blurted

“He is a spineless punk, Viper.” Lucien hissed. “Just ditch him and this damn marriage. ” Lucien added fire..

Raphael couldn’t stand it. “Shut your trap..dis..” I was so enraged I didn’t let him finish. My hand ran across his cheek. I slapped so hard his lips bled.

“Don’t you dare cuss him, Raphael..” My chest heaved as I drew in a deep breath. ” Don’t you dare…”

“I have never touched Amelia. You have no right to touch my man.” I barked out.

Raphael froze. He smiled in a cruel, defeated way. “Your man..” he repeated. “Then what am I?”

“I don’t even know anymore. Just stop this madness…” I stated.

Raphael laughed, shaking his head. “Fine Lynn.” He accepted.

“You won…happy.” he laughed out. “I am jealous. I can’t stand it. So, please, I am begging you: let’s end this madness. I don’t want to share you with anyone. ”

My breath caught in my throat as I stared at him in disbelief.

“I don’t want this open marriage again.”
