It was her…he really got a picture of my mother. My chest felt tight and the tears started to pour before I realised it. I remember how desperately I had tried to get that photograph of my mother.

“Between you and Joey, one of you would be the death of me.” She grumbled. I secretly chuckled, earning her a glare.

“You know what, Lucien take her away. She needs to rest.” Genny instructed, and to my shock, Lucien smiled. He walked up to me and swept me off the ground ..

The bastard didn’t carry princess style but flipped me over his shoulders. Genny laughed as I glared hard at them then waved at me.

“Good night, birthday girl.”
