Chapter 334: Slow torture

Braelyn’s POV

“Who knows,” he said with a smirk that made my heart race. The air turned charged. Before I could say anything else, he reached for something and brought it into view.

A strip of fabric. My pulse quickened, a wave of thrill hit me at once. “Close your eyes,” he urged me.

There was a brief hesitation, a moment where I could have refused, but I did not. Slowly, I did as he asked. My eyelids lowered, and I was engulfed by the darkness. My senses heightened once my sight was sealed. I could smell the scent of fried oil and spices from the meal he made and hear his little movements.

I felt him step closer. His fingers brushed against my skin as he tied the fabric securely around my eyes, and darkness fell over me instantly.

My heart started racing. Everything felt sharper without sight.

I became painfully aware of how close he was, of the warmth of his body, of the faint brush of his breath. Then he leaned in, close enough for his lips to almost graze my ear.

“Next time you try to run,” he whispered, his voice low and controlled, “I would not go easy on you.”

A shiver ran through me, my fingers curling slightly against the counter as his words settled deep. And despite everything, my heart only beat faster.

His cold fingertip traced down my jaw to my neck, then collarbone. I felt every inch of it. Anticipation quickly built in me.

His lips brushed under my jaw; a jolt shot through my spine, and my toes curled up. A gasp escaped my lips.

His lips found mine, a soft brush that deepened into a gentle kiss, like he was confessing to me all over again. He didn’t deepen the kiss—he just took his sweet time, tasting and teasing my lips.

His teeth nibbled my lower lip, making me gasp and lean in, but no matter how I urged him, he took his time. He broke the kiss, and a string of saliva broke between us.

“Come with me…” he said, taking my hand and leading me out of the kitchen. I was completely blindfolded and relied on his directions. Our footsteps echoed in the empty penthouse.

I didn’t ask any questions, but my mind kept racing. Eventually, we got to a room; the door creaked open as we walked in.

Immediately, I could feel the shift. He let go of my hand, and the silence swallowed me. I couldn’t hear a single thing; a music player was switched on, playing a Lana Del Rey song, drowning every other sound.

My fingers curled. He didn’t want me to know where he was coming from. “Lucien…” I called his name carefully. My throat went dry, and I gulped.

“Lucien…” I called again, and there was no answer. Then a jolt of breath fanned on my skin. My head snapped toward the direction.

My body shuddered. “I thought you said you weren’t scared.” Lucien’s voice came from the opposite side. He chuckled lightly.

“I am not scared,” I said bravely, although my gut was starting to waver.

“A brave little Viper you are.” He taunted; his presence shifted to my back. His fingers brushed my skin, then my zip slid down. The moment the cold air touched my back, I shuddered.

My dress slid down after that, pooling at my feet. It felt as if the air had turned colder. Then his presence disappeared again. Seconds passed. I knew he was deliberately teasing me.

The wait made things spicier. I tried to pick up sounds over the music, but it was useless.

Something cold slid around my wrist, followed by a click. I gasped. He pulled my other hand closer, and both hands were cuffed together.

My cuffed hands were pulled forward; I stumbled until my legs hit the bed. He moved to my back, his tongue rolling over my earlobes slowly, finding my spots.

I moaned without restraint. His teeth nibbled the sensitive skin under my ears. His husky voice rang in my ears. “On your knees,” he commanded, and something like a whip struck the back of my knees.

I cried—it should hurt. It stung a bit, but something else overpowered everything as I fell to my knees. A sharp electric shock made my entire body tremble with something I had never experienced.

The music turned into something sensual and a bit erotic. I could hear him now circling me. My scoffed hand was lifted up and chained to the bedpost.

The whip he used earlier was now tracing my spine. My body curled; it felt like a feather. Just when my muscles relaxed, another strike struck my lower waist.

This time I moaned, a wave of heat rushing down to my core. Sweat was starting to form on my skin. He struck again, harder this time, intending it to hurt. It did hurt me, but my toes curled with pleasure.

“Lucien…” I cried. “It’s too much…”

He scoffed at me. “It’s nothing compared to how crazy I went when you disappeared…” he rasped. Then the hit struck again, going straight to my spine.

I didn’t know how to explain this… how the pain twisted in a way that felt so good my butt clenched together, unable to control it.

I was gasping, tugging my chained hand. His lips then found my neck; he kissed slowly. “Relax, Viper, feel everything…” he urged. At the same time, my handless bra was unclasped; his palm grabbed one, squeezing hard.

“Your nipples are already this hard. I wonder how wet you are…” he chuckled, after leaving a mark on my neck. That wasn’t a mystery to us, but his hand still slid under my panties into my soaking wetness.

He cursed. His body pressed against me; I could feel his hardness throbbing behind me. I was enjoying the feeling of his fingers in my folds. It left me breathless from how needy I was.

But I was yet to know what breathless meant. Something clamped hard on my left nipple, then the right one, driving me insane. My eyes rolled from how intensely the heat rolled down.

He was using nipple clamps. It was torture in a bittersweet way. My body was shaking by now.
