Everyone turned their heads towards the door, and Arok walked inside while two of his subordinates followed behind him with a trunk.

A bitter expression appeared on most of the group leaders’ faces, remembering why Arok had earned the infamous title of The Horder.

Seeing their bitter expressions, Arok laughed and took a glance at Rion and Haria before taking a seat beside Marin.

“You actually came?” Marin asked in a surprised voice; his eyes, however, weren’t surprised at all.

A hearty laugh left Arok, and he answered, “Why wouldn’t I come when my friend’s grandson calls for me?”

“A friend’s grandson is like our own,” Valak commented with a smile.

Arok grinned, struck the ground beside him with his open palm and said, “Place it here.”

The two subordinates nodded, placed the trunk at its spot and left.

The group leaders’ eyes shifted at Rion, and he continued, “Lastly, the master of the new Herbalist Camp, Zaelyane.”

A few group leaders who knew of Zaelyane’s name widened their eyes in disbelief, while the others raised an eyebrow at the mention of Herbalist Camp.

Haria shot her gaze at him and muttered in disbelief, “Zaelyane? She is here?”

Rion gave her a nod and pointed his hand towards the door.

A few moments later, an extremely beautiful woman stepped inside the hut and looked around with her ethereal green eyes before making her way towards the seat beside Valak.

Everyone except Rion watched her with surprised expressions because Zaelyane never left her hut, but now the same Zaelyane had come all the way here because of Rion’s invitation.

Sovra, Naqir and Kara looked at Rion with silent acknowledgement.

Zaelyane took a seat beside Valak, locked her gaze on Rion and placed a pouch beside herself.

Rion looked at Marin and Valak and said, “We can start the discussion now.”

Marin nodded, clapped his hand and declared, “Let us start with the introductions.”

He pointed his hand towards Zaelyane and said. “Master of the Herbalist Camp, Zaelyane.”

“What’s this Herbalist Camp?” Asked Grathar.

Marin smiled and responded, “The Herbalist Camp is a new pillar of the Redwood Den. The gatherers would be taught and trained in herbs and medicine by Zaelyane, and their pills and medicine would be used by the warriors for better and faster growth.”

“You are saying we have to be dependent on the discarded?” Drokan asked with a frown.

Marin looked at Drokan with a calm gaze and said, “Discarded? Are you saying that you don’t think of the gatherers as a part of the Dhaevrak?”

“They are weak, and thus they are useless. Dhaevrak doesn’t acknowledge that,” Grathar stated evenly.

“Weak? Yes. Useless? No. How can you call them useless when they are going to concoct useful pills and medicine for us?” Rheak questioned with a tilted head.

Grathar turned his head towards Rhaek and responded, “They will concoct pills and medicine, but we don’t know how useful they would be.”

Most of the group leaders, even Haria, nodded, and she commented, “We wouldn’t know unless we try, and we always wanted something like the Herbalist Camp…”

Her gaze shifted towards Zaelyane, and she added, “We simply didn’t have someone to make it true.”

Everyone shifted their gaze between Zaelyane and Rion, and Zaelyane announced flatly, “It will take at least two months for the gatherers to concoct pills and medicines by themselves.”

Everyone nodded.

Marin smiled, pointed his hand towards Arok and said, “All of you already know Arok the Horder, so I’ll just tell you what help he is providing for us during the war.”

He took out another leather parchment from his pouch, unfurled it and read it loudly, “I, Arok, the master of all blacksmiths and craftsmen. As well as the best blacksmith of the Dhaevrak…”

Marin lowered the parchment and gave Arok a deadpan look.

Arok grinned while showing his teeth and gestured for him to continue.

Rion chuckled and commented under his breath, “Tsundere old man…”

Marin continued, “During this year, I would be providing the warriors with weapons and armour… All the material required to forge and craft them would also be provided by me.”

Silence descended into the hut, and everyone, even Marin, stared at Arok with wide eyes until one of them mumbled, “Armour?”
