Chapter 164: That Fast?

Looking at the small piece of paper that was on the table, the two ladies were shocked. During the time that the man was seated there, they had not noticed him touching the table at all.

But somehow, he had managed to leave a piece of paper there, his movements unnoticed to them. Immediately, they realized that this person was not simple. The methods that he used, they were extraordinary.

“Kate, what do you think we should do? Are you going to think about contacting him, or are you going to ask your grandpa to look into this?” Susan asked as she gazed towards the closed private room door.

“I am not really sure. But, considering that he was able to leave his contact information here, without us noticing it, it is clear that he is not a simple person. There is a possibility that he is honest.

Additionally, there is no need to make a hasty decision for the time being. I still have today and tomorrow. By Monday, I would have already come up with a solution to this.” Kate responded after a moment of thought.

Susan nodded as she thought that what Kate said was quite sensible. Still, she was worried. Neither of them could recognize this person.

And as she was thinking about Michael, she suddenly thought of something. Previously, Michael was able to easily obtain detailed information on the Kingsley family.

“Can you stop talking nonsense at a time like this? There is something more important than that.” Kate responded in an irritated voice.

“Hehe! Don’t worry, you can just focus on what you intend to do. As for me, I will do both.” Susan chuckled as she said.

The two rushed out of the hotel, before they got into a taxi that sped towards Riverside residential community.

After having lunch, Michael began pushing another skill to the expert level. This time, the skill was architecture.

But, he had only gone halfway, managing to push the skill to the intermediate level, about to advance to the advanced level, when suddenly, the doorbell rang.

Adrian went ahead and opened the door, before two ladies came in. One of them was Kate, who was still in the same outfit that she had been in before.

And behind her was another lady, probably of the same age as Kate, with wavy red hair and contrasting blue eyes.

As the two of them walked in, the lady following behind Kate was looking around curiously.

Michael immediately knew who the lady was the moment that he saw her. During the time that he had Adrian do an investigation on the forces within the city, this lady was mentioned in the information.

She was Susan Anders, Dalton’s younger sister. But, she was mostly in the central province, rarely appearing within the eastern province.

As for the relationship between her and Kate, Michael had not really paid attention back then. But now, it seemed that the two of them were quite close.

“Michael, I’m sorry for interrupting you. But, I would like to ask for a favor.” Kate said as she approached Michael.

Susan followed behind her, while looking at Michael curiously. She was slightly surprised when she realized that he seemed to be of the same age as them.

This was something that Kate had mentioned before, but she did not take it seriously. And now, looking at him, in terms of appearance, he wasn’t one of the most good looking guys out there.

But even then, he was definitely above average in terms of looks. And more than that, there was something about him that made him attractive.

She could not exactly pinpoint what it was that was attractive about him, but she felt that he was charming?

Regardless, she was much more curious about him. Was he as Kate usually told her? Or, was it all just a facade to trick Kate?

Michael, after just an initial glance at Susan, he focused on Kate. And at her words, he raised his brows slightly before he asked, “There is no problem. So, what could be the issue?”

From the little changes on Kate’s face, together with the way that she was behaving, he could tell that she was distressed.

“See, there is a piece of paper here. It contains the contact information of someone. He came looking for me, claiming that he could help me get revenge.

Is it possible for you to be able to use this number in order to be able to investigate about him, to make sure that he is not related to any enemies of my family? Or, if he is just trying to scheme against me?”

At the same time as she spoke, she handed the piece of paper to Michael. Michael looked at it, realizing that the number on the piece of paper was obviously the person’s contact.

It was not impossible for him to be able to trace the owner of this number. But, he did not personally do it. Instead, he handed the piece of paper to Adrian, who sat behind a laptop, and quickly began doing the search.

“Wait here a bit. There is something I need to do back in my room. I will be back in a minute.” Michael said as he stood up.

Then, he went to his room, away from the two ladies. The moment he was out of their sight and range of hearing, he tapped the smartwatch on his wrist.

At the same time, he said, “Onyx, quickly do a search for me for this number. +*******589. I want all the information related to this number, and the person who has been using this number recently.”

“Command received. All the detailed information will be presented as soon as possible.” Onyx responded.

Michael went back to his room, waiting for a bit, before he came back to the living room.

During the time that he was in his bedroom, he had informed Onyx to send the information directly to Adrian.

It was not that Michael did not trust Adrian’s abilities. It was just that, Onyx was way faster than Adrian when it came to things like this.

So, by the time that he sat down, all the information had already been sent to Adrian. Adrian was momentarily puzzled by the document that was sent to his email.

But the moment that he checked it, he calmed down. Then, he quickly transferred the document to Michael and said, “All the information has already been found, it has been sent to your email.”

“Seriously?! That fast? Are you sure that you are not kidding us?” Susan, who was still observing Michael, suddenly exclaimed when she heard Adrian’s words.
