Recently, Michael had informed Onyx to inform him in case someone came looking for him. He did not want the same situation as when Bob and the other few people came looking for him.

Mostly, Onyx was previously paying attention to those that tried to look for Michael’s information. As for where exactly they were, Michael did not pay much attention.

But ever since that incident where Bob came with Gregory, Michael told Onyx to pay attention to the surroundings of the villa.

So, the moment that James came looking for him, Onyx immediately informed Michael. And at the moment, James was still at the entrance of the community, having just entered.

Standing in the living room, he could see the dining area where Michael was eating. Despite all the questions that he had in his mind, all the things that he wanted to say, he dared not utter a word.

He decided to wait, until Michael was done, before he could speak. So, he continued standing, having not been given the permission to sit, so he dared not to.

Even though Michael had already noticed James’s presence, he did not say anything either. As for asking him to sit, he did not bother to do that.

Anyway, this guy came here with the intention of killing him. It was already good enough that he was alive, having been given a chance to continue living. Otherwise, he might have already died, just like Nathan and his son.

It did not take long for Michael to finish eating the breakfast. Immediately after he was done, he went ahead and sat on the couch in the living room, before asking, “So, what brings you here?”

James, who had been nervous this entire time, did not relax in the slightest. Even though Michael had already sat down, James did not follow suit.

And when Michael asked the question, he took a deep breath before he responded, “I would like to ask, is it possible for you to remove this restriction that you placed on me?”

“Yeah. I can do that.” Michael responded straightforwardly, leaving James completely stunned.

“C-can y-you do it now?” James hastily asked, clearly finding it hard to believe that Michael would just let him go like that.

“It is quite simple. If you want the restriction to go, you can just die. As soon as you die, the restriction will immediately disappear.” Michael responded casually.

“Huh?!” This time, James was left dumbfounded, as he looked at Michael, not sure what to say.

Eventually, he let out a helpless sigh, as he understood, it was impossible for Michael to let him go. He was not an idiot, and when he asked, he did not really hold that much hope.
