Chapter 33: Dual Personality?

Upon hearing someone calling his name, Michael turned and looked in the direction of the voice.

And just as he had expected, the person who had called him was familiar. And, it was no one other than Dante!

At this moment, Dante was staring at Michael, his expression still filled with indifference. But still, his eyes could tell the confusion that he was feeling at this point.

“Hey, cousin, I have already made all the necessary preparations. I was only waiting for you to pop up. In actual sense, I was already waiting for you for over 2 weeks now, but you only appeared today.” Dante spoke with a joyous expression on his face.

“Haha! Dante, you know how busy I usually am. It is not that easy to be able to find some free time, especially after the previous incident.

Someone is keeping a tab on my actions, just looking for a chance to get me out of the way. But you know, I cannot give them any chance.” The thin man responded with an equally bright smile on his face.

The two of them hugged each other, before Dante stood next to the thin man.

“Cousin, I have booked the best private room within the hotel. Today, I must treat you well, to thank you for your assistance. If not for you, I might have lost badly.” Dante spoke once again.

“Okay then. Let’s get going. I really need to relax now. It has been quite a hectic time for me, and I need something to relieve all the stress that I have.” The thin man responded, the smile on his face growing wider.

“No problem.” Dante quickly nodded in response.

But just as the group was about to depart, Dante seemed to remember something and gazed at Michael.

“Oh, right, I forgot something. Hey kid, come with me. We need to discuss about your actions later on. I cannot allow you to disappear again.” Dante, his expression shifting from the previous flattering one, turned cold as he spoke to Michael.

Michael on the other hand could not help but be amazed by Dante. For a moment, he wondered, was it possible that Dante possessed two personalities?

For all the two years that he had been working for Dante and his shadow assembly gang, he had never seen Dante smile like this.

But now, he looked no different from those subordinates that liked to flatter their bosses. This was an eye opener to him.

When he heard Dante speaking to him, with his personality flipping again, Michael constantly nodded his head.

In his mind, he confirmed, this guy definitely had dual personalities. And if he was acting to flatter this cousin of his, then, he would definitely be a good actor.

As for this cousin, it was quite a surprise to Michael. It seemed, this was the connection that Dante had within the Phantom gang.

It was just that, this guy, who looked as though he could be blown away by the wind, actually had a high position within such a big gang, it seemed quite unlikely.

But from the way that Dante was flattering him, Michael could tell, the possibility was high.

In any case, maybe, this guy did not possess high combat strength, but instead, he might be the mind within the gang, which was why he was holding a high position.

Since Dante was here, then there was no need for him to continue staying here. He had to find another place to stay.

“Daniel, so you are here? Why did you not tell me in advance so that I could receive you?” Suddenly, another voice attracted Dante’s attention.
