When she saw who it was that was coming in, she could not help but say in a resentful voice, “Doreen, can you at least knock before you enter? Otherwise, you might end up startling me to the extent that I would pass out or even die from a heart attack.”

“Why are you exaggerating things? Anyway, there is big news.” Doreen simply waved at Carol as she gazed at her with her dark green eyes filled with excitement.
