“Not much, just about $76,000.” Michael responded offhandedly.

But when he was met by silence, Michael looked towards the old man, only to realize that the old man was shocked.

When he realized that Michael was looking at him, the old man stammered, “That… That much? Why did you spend so much money just for furnishing the houses?”

In Drenn city, by now, many people would have already returned to their houses. But looking at the streets that were still full of people, Michael felt relieved.

As soon as the group entered the apartments, they were all amazed. None of them had actually thought that they would be staying in such a luxurious place.

In their lives, this was the first time that they were going to stay in such a place. They were all excited about this, and some of them began looking at Michael, wondering just how much he had spent on this.

In the group of seven ladies, two of them began looking at Michael, with a faint blush on their faces. But, they were only covertly looking at him, shy to be noticed by him.

After everyone was distributed into the five apartments, with the children staying with someone older to monitor them, Michael decided to leave.

“I will go to look for another place to stay. But apart from that, I will be looking for the business. By tomorrow, we should have a business. So, you can prepare them, those that can help out.

As for the issue of school and so on, I will find someone to help us with that.” Michael said to John before he departed.

Before leaving, he had left the old man with a total of $20,000. That amount should be enough for them to be able to deal with some things, such as buying several pairs of clothes and groceries.

The wardrobes in the bedrooms of the apartments were completely empty, and would need to be filled soon.

While the amount was not enough to be able to fill the wardrobes completely, but at least, there should be a few pairs of clothes for each person.

Currently his chef skills were only at the beginner level. The food that he could make was not comparable to the ones that he had been eating recently, especially from Crown Hotel.
