Beyond the light is a scenic room, enormous, the walls are lined with carved wood that somehow still has flowers blooming. A complicated water feature is also inbuilt creating a soothing sound in the Temple masters’ room. The Temple master herself is a magnificent five foot tall. Her monstrous aura adds choking ambience to the room. Tyr eyes open wide she is at least a level three hundred and she is also a magic-based class. Miks after introducing the boys slithers away almost on her belly. Miks has nothing but unwavering respect for the Temple master. 

It starts with her opening her eyes, they are ancient. She has lived several lifetimes her eyes have been glazed over by time but Tyr, Styx, and SKY Ocean Hunter each feel as if she is looking right through them. They even eye one another and Tyr with a wicked smile pushes SKY Ocean Hunter forward. The Temple Master has a strange quality to herself she is somehow both alive and yet she has barely moved except for opening her eyes. SKY Ocean Hunter is suddenly very nervous even shaking a bit the pressure the temple master oozes is like a glass filled with water that could tip over at any time. 

“Be at ease child I couldn’t hurt you even though I want to.” Her voice is sharp and constant sounding like a waterfall it is obviously filled with strength but it is distant. Having her threaten them has each of the boys’ mould plans, Styx going so far as to activate a passive spell. SKY Ocean Hunters’ tail involuntarily swirls the tip of his tail when the temple master said the first part he felt a rush. Even as he knew there is no way for him to defeat her, he would try if it came down to it. He waits for her to continue she does speak in a very slow tempo. “I will have the fruit in your possession one way or another. We have cultivated that particular tree for a hundred years in preparation for our war with the village.”

A world rank mission is something not easy to come by especially in a game like Odyessy where missions are always linear. It is the very reason Tyr and Aria had decided to forgo them while filled with lore they are lengthy and consequential. 

SKY Ocean Hunter brings out the fruit placing it in front if the temple master. The smallest crack of a smile appears on her face as she relaxes. It is clear this is a massive weight off her shoulders. She waves her hand.

The Place you picked the fruit from is part of a complex series of ruins from when we all lived together. Since you have already stepped on these hallowed lands please do fulfil this request for me. Tyr says, “Temple Master forgive my caution it is my place as my lord’s hand. What exactly do you require of us. We are not in the habit of accepting requests that are not properly explained.” Tyr is the opposite of Styx who was actually waved down by Tyr. This dynamic between them also shows the Temple how they operate any wise person will quickly realise that the two boys are actually under the full control of SKY Ocean Hunter. She even looks at him closer yet he gives nothing away.

SKY Ocean Hunter says, “We accept your mission and hope to be fully compensated.” He didn’t want to push for an exchange right now as a veteran gamer he knows sometimes it’s easy to want an immediate reward but this complex ai sometimes reward better if you allow for more variation in rewards. 

The Temple Master says, “I don’t think we will besides all the old treasures are still in the ruins and according to law. Those who pioneer are directly allowed to take  what they deem valuable.” This makes Tyr and Styx smile not so much SKY Ocean Hunter it’s true that treasurers are cool but he has higher goals. The ownership of Red Iron Island is well in hand they just need to secure each region. The only encampment left is in the west. Thanks to that sly old man who made them go after resource lands they have a stronger than a normal foothold. It’s why they have this chance to go west while the others still need to find and secure resource lands for the encampments they have. 

Seeing his unchanging expression the Temple Master gives SKY Ocean Hunter a treat. A personal trigger that goes off inside the city ruins is something he wants more than anything while he has been able to trace most of the items needed to activate the first seal on his Reservoir of Life. One Item, in particular, he has not been able to track down. Styx looks at SKY Ocean Hunter for the first time his guild leader looks at a loss for words. Even Tyr saw this and when SKY Ocean Hunter sends them a message they are all blown back. As the treat works for all of them even Styx who epic item for becoming a celestial still reads as ‘???????’, Styx now has his first clue as to what exactly is the item is…

After a short while, the Temple Master says, “this is but one of the many things we are willing to offer to you.” She waves her hands the fruit vanishes into her inventory and her son comes into the Temple Masters room. The white tiger loos at them with a crooked eye and scoffs. Minks scoffs at him on the lads’ behalf who is dazed. Epic items seals are not easy to unseal, immediately they are all pushing messages back to the others in the guild giving mission requests for the smaller items. 

Minks doesn’t take them out the same way they came, rather she takes them to a garden that has the exact same tree they picked the fruit from. The Gem Underneath is active unlike the one in the cave. This is the start of a true adventure the ancestral city should be filled with all kinds of goodies for them to acquire. There she waits she is sure they are doing something even they’re not talking physically she is sure they are communicating with each other somehow. They all have a much sharper air about them. This always happens when people visit the temple master. It’s like she cut the truth of the matter and point people in the right direction. 

Styx is first to expel his arm blade dripping purple spirit blood he activates a series of spells his red aura embracing purple and his blades start to hum with intent. Next is the human with his fitted mixed leather outfit. The weapon he pulls out is not something made in these parts they can only be bought on the main a magic wand made of obsidian shaped like a spear. Clearly, a fragile weapon but they are apparently willing to risk the loss of this custom weapon. Finally, the impressive Naga lets out some water from his hands. A spell MInsks guesses even though she didn’t feel a hint of magic power from him. 

SKY Ocean Hunter says, “We will be back…”
