Chapter 150: Sneaking In
Tyr smiles as he reenters the after having cleared his plan with John-baptist. While it is possible they will be making another powerful enemy the benefits speak for themselves. So far the guild has only secured one immortal technique and that is related to the magic engine which was won by Andromeda but they won’t have access to that until she graduates. This is also why Tyr didn’t want to do it the proper way. First, no school would be willing to sell their techniques and they are too small to try and offer them to open a branch academy high plus they can’t even afford the fees to set up a branch building. This is only possible also if they have a reputation with the company which will take more time than Tyr is willing to invest right now.
Esame’el appears out the shadows of the building they took cover behind, while things have settled down on the Rig it is still incredibly quiet. Laughter and music can be heard from the direction of the market. Esame’el says, “They found them a few hours ago, but getting into the facility they may have picked a few friends.” Tyrkonws what she probably means he doesn’t care the portal is limited to a certain number of people in fact everyone on the rig could go through if they wanted to.
Tyr says, “send them north, it is difficult to cause shit from there we will process them from them and move them around as we want. Don’t let them go free we are not a charity.”
Esame’el eyes go wide for a moment then she asks, “Are you saying we should hold them indefinitely.”
Tyr says, “God no but if we release them on our we will become responsible for them. If the north is where they think we live only those who are sincere will want to work with us to build it. The others can be ferried to pIke to fend for themselves.”
Esame’el lets out a sigh of relief and says, ” Okay I will let them know. What about our guys?” Tyr turns to look at her confused he looks at the message. Even they have been taken prisoner some of them have been given access to certain lifestyle classes like Deepsea Builder, Current Controller and such. These classes are focused on ocean living and some players believe that it is worth the shot.
Tyr says, “If they want to stay leave them then, of course, give them some cash to buy their freedom it should be enough if we empty my coffers alone.” Tyr isn’t doing this because he is a good person but rather to bind them to the guild while not all will feel tehy own the guild. Some will eventually return as fully-fledged designers and such. And with Peppa being a shipwright she can hire multiply designers in her shop giving them access to more variety of vessels.
Esame’el says, “They are waiting on us then.” Tyr had ordered them to not remove the people until they were in place.
Tyr says, ” Good please tell to cause as large a distraction as possible.” Esame’el smiles she had expected him to do something like this and had prepared a little extra surprise. This is the first time she has been able to anticipate him. He has a goal that he hasn’t shared with her but at this point, escape is on her mind. This building is probably important to whoever owns it.
Esame’el says, “We should get started the operation will start promptly.” Tyr looks intense at the door.
Tyr says, “Please then get started I’m excited to see what you can do.” A rogue artificer is a difficult build and he wants to see want skills she can have been learning. her being a Dryad should definitely help the nature element is very adaptable and should give her a forest of abilities and skills. Esame’el does have some odd skills. She moves with purpose throwing two darts from her body. each guard even being ten levels above her is frozen stiff.
Arriving at the door, she quickly picks the lock the minigame. Is a simple tumbling lock that one has to listen to crack open. It does not even take her three seconds. The best part was that she grew the lock pick from her body. As a Dryad and an artificer, she can grow a lot of the tools needed in her rogue class.
Inside the hallways are of course spiralled typical deep ocean floor schematic system. The halls are dimly lit. The only people inside should be cleaning crabs and professors and maybe some players who are here to study. They start moving about Tyr following closely behind as Esame’el drops four mushroom-like balls that explode a the feet of the guards inside. they were guarding another passageway. To her, it seems like a trap but also without signage and Tyr not correcting her she must be going the right way.
Tyr says, “why did you throw so many for so few guards? One of them should have been enough to take out the guards.”
Esamee’el says, “I’m not about the various resistances they have so each bomb was a different effect in case one of them is immune.” It is extremely rare for a species to complete immunity to all poisons rather than a specific kind of poison. Esame’el pushes the large carol doors open it leads them into a vault or at least she thinks it is. Tyr raises one finger in the air and signals one minute. They can’t possibly look at all the bottles there are too many to go through. These are probably just examples built by students over the years. So quality varies a lot. He only wants her to take one because people would get greedy and steal a whole fleet. He didn’t come here to get ships built for a specific purpose he has no idea about. Plus maintaining so many ships as a new guild will be crazy.
Tyr spends his time looking for a utility ship. He had already scrapped the idea of a warship. SKY Ocean Hunter whole purpose of going home is to bring back his family heirloom which has strong fighting capabilities amongst other things. Plus a battleship is boring, if Tyr ever got a ship designed for a fight he would want some like wave frigate. He goes past the mining ships though tempted he is already about to start a land-based mining operation he would like something different for the sea. He would like something Medium Bunz could use. Tyr Thinks to himself, “A factory ship? No, it’s too big at our size we would not be able to stop the machines from being wasted. We could try to steal her a personal frigate with a large cargo capacity maybe some weapons too. Sounds good but I think this could be better.” In front of him is a snowglobe like a ship in bottles certain structures come in snowglobes a popular one is the Mobile Market or the Mini Manufacturing platforms these ships are meant for slow sailing and come for all kinds of professions their are mobile labs and underwater farms. His time is running short he has to make decisions so he just picks one that he thinks she will like the most.
Tyr meets Esame’el by the door leading deeper into the academy. Having passed the vault Esame’el is smiling though she has not shown Tyr what she chose.. She is confident in her choice that it will bring attention to the guild. They move quality past scores of blueprints some half-finished and others sealed tightly. Esame’el wanted to look around here too but Tyr is adamant about moving on. Tyr and Esame’el arrive at an intricately locked door. Esame’el has never seen a lock like it. It has multiple stages interconnect tumblers and only three chances for her to succeed which has never happened. What makes it even odder is it is not the most dazzling door and around the corner is one guarded by a massive snake-like creature which Tyr immediately moved away from it.
Tyr says, “this is the office of the Chief Design professor.” If he had more time he would be attacking the snake right now. It is alike a snail whatever is in its shell is valuable but Tyr wants a technique and the only people who have them in large amounts are professors but he was just looking for any professors office. The one he is looking for should belong to a houseboat designer. The competitive focused ship can always be found as a reward but getting certain designs will be nearly impossible unless they raid or buy them at absorbant prices. Houseboats are popular because they are mobile just like rafts but to Tyr, they are moneymakers as they can be used by all three types of players without any specialised training or specific levels needed. This is his gift to his friend a bona fiend regional moneymaker!
Five minutes ago…
Apolita says, “We good to go, hun, let them have it.” Blackbeard gives a thumbs up and some of the players they reduced that stayed behind rush through the doors screaming that intruders are in the prison. This should give their guildmates some benefits. Apolita also opened for cages of those who are clearly rage for a fight and pointed them a the door. They have already talked to everyone and know who wants to come with them. The others are staying or fighting while they are escaping.
